It’s pretty clever. Ignore the actual day to day governing and then wait for a phantom non-issue to get invented then turn up to denounce that and be seen as Getting Things Done.

It's classic right wing populism, isn't it ?

He's made a career out of this, knowing that people lap it up.

Boris Johnson's new Brexit trade adviser is former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, who has been labeled an 'offensive, climate-change-denying, Trump-worshipping misogynist'

Cummings recruit sacked after suggesting police use 'live rounds' on BLM protesters

A data specialist recruited to the civil service following Dominic Cummings’ call for “weirdos and misfits” to work for the UK government was sacked recently after posting on social media that police should use live rounds against Black Lives Matter demonstrators

"Weirdos and misfits".

Johnson meets with over 50 MPs in a room with a maximum capacity of 29 then lectures others about illegal gatherings of more than 30 people.

Today has probably been the biggest laugh so far, with Johnson getting bodied by absolutely everyone on the Brexit treaty and yesterday's Moonbeams plan completely unravelling.

Who knows what the script writers will have to think up by Season Three at this rate.

Where's your head at Boris? In response to Pretty Patel's (sic) "dob on your neighbours" comments BJ shows it's still back in 80s Oxford.....

Quote

I have never much been in favour of sneak culture myself. But I think what is reasonable for anyone to do is if they think there is a serious threat to public health as a result of their neighbour’s activities – if there is some huge kind of Animal House party taking place, as I am sure, hot tubs and so forth, and there is a serious threat to public health then it’s reasonable for the authorities to know.”

I’ll certainly be reporting anyone who has their HiFi turned up too loud. Can’t stand any of that new rock music sung by those young people with untrimmed sideburns. I’m with dear old Boris: take away their hot tubs and their gameboys and the young will soon learn that only the rich are allowed to break the rules.

Poor Boris

Underpaid 8), I reckon if there's a lull in the Brexit/Covid clusterfucks next year he'll be off - back to the Telegraph (pronto) and all the book deals, after dinner speeches and directorships he can get faster than he can say his full name.
