This, while BJ himself is a dead man walking I reckon his style is likely more likely to stay than not, Keir Starmer's decision to resign if fined for Beergate notwithstanding.

PMQs on a Wednesday - innit? A lot will depend on how much noise Tory MPs make in response to his "answers". Is it too late to come down with a sudden illness?

Whatever else I think of Labour I do not see them continuing with Johnson et al’s style of ‘f**k the norms’ governing.

Just about the entire education department has gone.

Apparently one more big hitter will be away before PMQs, if it's Mordaunt then the show really is over.

"The Rishi Sunak and the Sajid Javid".

What's all that about?

Patel has been keeping a rather low profile and maybe waiting to see how the chips fall before nailing her colours to any particular mast....

I think she'll stay to the bitter end, nobody else would give her a job.

I expect his first move will be populist, like a big cut in fuel duty.

It certainly wouldn't be before time.

No doubt he'll give a scrap or two to the peasants while giving away the real goodies to Big business and the wealthiest in society.

Even if he does, will the oil companies pass it on?

I think it's the retail end that adds it to the price and they're already being investigated about the the last cut, so I think they probably would, especially with the oil price falling.

Andrew Bridgen on Politics Live at the moment saying he should resign at the dispatch box today with some dignity otherwise we're changing the rules in the 1922 committee and we'll throw him out next week.

Forgive me if I am wrong on this. But, it seems to me that even after all the sexual impropriety that has gone before ( against women), that is a nature of homosexual indiscretion that seems to have set the blue rinse off. Just my opinion.
