I don't ever recall ever seeing or hearing newspapers or TV journalists refer to her as 'Nicola'.

Nor do many of the same commentators who refer in hallowed tones to “Mrs Thatcher” and even “Mrs May” soil their tongues with “Mrs” or “Ms” Sturgeon. It’s always just “Sturgeon” or “NicolaSturgeon”.

They're really on the ball, these conservative voters. Listened to this, a lot of Tories phoned in with their displeasure of the Bozo. 80% or so called time on him. The odd bunnet says he's the man and another said he's got long covid. The more home county(rich)Tories were a bit more ruthless as they want him out to try diminish Labours chances of getting in. One even said Patel should replace him.

Some of these on Mair's show admitted that they had voted Tory all their lives but couldn't explain why! Another one on Nick Ferrari's show suggested she now wished Corbyn had won the 2019 election. Ferrari was incredulous. "You mean you would have been happy with an anti-semite as our PM?" To her credit the lady replied that she did not believe that Corbyn was in any way anti-semitic and would have been a more effective PM than the clown presently in charge.

Shame she didn’t point out that Ferrari was happy to have a racist in charge.

I suspect she wanted to say a lot more, but Ferrari quickly cut her off. He's nothing more than a loud mouthed arsehole. I only ever catch the tail end of his show while waiting for James O'Brien to come on.

Comrie
I watched some of the DCMS panel with Dorries and the amount of smug arrogance dripping from her despite barely having two braincells to spark a rational thought is absolutely incredible.

I suspect we will soon see some defections from Tory to Labour in the former red wall. Or maybe Tory to independent if they are particularly pro Leave. Corbyn should really be rich with money raked in from various libel cases.

It would appear that speech to the CBI only annoyed the media - the great British public appeared to lap it up, Peppa Pig and all!
Soapy FFC
Not sure the best place to post this, but it ties into previous comments about Tory sleaze. Another example of the 'elite' living to different rules from everyone else. Makes you wonder what they are trying to hide. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/nov/24/britains-royals-used-obscure-legal-procedure-to-hide-distant-relatives-wills

He's rich from being an MP for 40 years and owning a house that has increased in value 1000%.

sophia
Mind when they said that the cream of the crop went to Westminster. By any measure, that piece and his subsequent clarification are poor indeed.
