Corbyn produced documents which showed are beloved NHS was on the table for talks and the press immediately denounced it as Russian obtained hysteria.

Yeah even the most worn down cynics amongst us must have been slightly taken aback by how quickly the source and origins of the document leak became the story as opposed to the hugely damaging contents. I think Kay Burley was particularly obsessed by the source at one interview with a Labour shadow cabinet member that she uttered something like "it doesn't matter what they say" as if that was being offered up as a distraction from the real story that involved fanciful Russian covert involvement.

Loads of people cynically deployed it and then loads more gullible morons became obsessed with it. Story of the UK!

I know some folk in the Northern Independence Party and they're doing some AMA on Reddit and there's people sincerely asking about the possibility of Russian disinformation infiltrating the campaign like FFS it's a bunch of bored and jaded Northerners meming on Starmer. They're convinced Putin is personally directing Keith memes because the NIP haven't provided full accounts of their funding (which is virtually non-existent).

There's nothing meaningful to hold them to account now at a national level beyond rioting. The BBC were being openly threatened by the Tories during the last election and they still did their dirty work.

That's been normal for longer than I've been alive. No matter how much to the right the BBC drifts, the Tories will still claim it's full of unreconstituted old Trots and Marxists, and that they'll consider cutting them adrift unless they toe the line.

In that respect, it would probably be a good thing to see the licence fee ended.

Johnson asked live by Paul Waugh whether his affair with Arcuri, conducted in his marital home, means the Nolan principles of honesty in public life are under threat. His spluttering, baffling evasion shows him up for the fluttering c**t he is. Expect the gammon vote to increase his poll figures accordingly.

I just the tail end of that briefing where the journalist asked if Bojo had conducted the affair in his marital home, and surprised to hear him say ;Yes' as he stormed off.

I can't find anything on it this morning in the news.

Imagine the media furore if Nicola Sturgeon had admitted to an affair.

Boris Johnson told Sir James Dyson by text he would 'fix' tax issue

*sigh*

Are we shocked by this? and are we expected to accept this as normal government business.

It will be brushed under the carpet as with all senior ministers corruption.

Maybe we should all write to Boris asking him to reduce our tax bill as we are tory donors.

It actually says more about the c***s c***s that is Dyson.

Fortunately a quoted Labour source mentioned that Dyson was a Tory donor or the bbc article might have missed that trivial detail.

The important thing is that Laura stood up for them both. They were trying to save us all from covid and that's what we should focus on. They're heroes really.

Laura saves the day again. Sir James, the patriot who doesn't live in the UK, was only trying to help.

I wonder when she will start to officially work for the Conservative Party, though she’s probably more help to them as an unofficial spokesperson.

They don't even try and hide it anymore, imagine being of a working class background and actually voting for this mob.

Ah but hasn’t De Piffel singlehanded saved English football from those pesky Europeans who were trying to ruin our beautiful game with all their greedy ESL plans? [emoji6]
