It's astonishing and you can't help but wonder when hearing comments like that from someone so senior, just what is it they know that they are trying to prevent being investigated. Yet again too police and prosecution services seeing direct intervention by Govt. No govt should be telling these agencies what they should and should not be investigating or prosecuting.

If you were following the enquiry into historic child abuse by the Scots Professor lady it’s quite apparent that the police and local authority agencies were turning a blind eye to the systematic abuse of young white girls by Pakistani/Asian men in the northern and midland towns of England. Surely that’s a case where central government needs to intervene and force the police and local agencies to take these matters seriously. It turns out that the police were not even recording the ethnicity of the perpetrators. The enquiry has been quite scathing on these matters.

1 in 2 British marriages end in divorce and actually getting married at all is a good indicator of voting Tory.

I don't think there is a standard Tory anymore. They have a coalition and Boris appeals to the parts of it with somewhere else to go.

BoJo is such a Tory he decided to do it 3 times! In fact, he is so dedicated to the cause, he even steps into the roles of other married Tories to shag their wives. He is nothing but considerate that way.

"Mirza, often seen as a proponent of Downing Street’s “war on woke”, worked with Johnson at City Hall when he was mayor of London, and he previously identified her as one of the five most inspiring women in his life. Her partner, Dougie Smith, is also a senior Tory adviser.

Johnson’s former adviser Dominic Cummings claimed Mirza’s departure was, “an unmistakeable signal the bunker is collapsing and this PM is finished”. He urged ministers to show a similar “flicker of moral courage,” and resign."

This is the crowning achievement of Johnson's time in office.  He's found a political position that not even an ex-Revolutionary Communist Party member can contort themselves to defend.  What a moment.

This is a bit like Jack the Ripper telling Peter Sutcliffe to wind his neck in and find God.

This, more than partygate, might be what kills the Tories this year. Huge hike in energy bills, followed by a loan that doesn't even touch the sides and has to be repaid.

Given my electricity bills have gone from being a reasonably steady £80 per month to £300 a month in both the last two months bills, £200 will do f**k all.

Well yes, exactly. Total p***ks

You just know that there will be an enquiry in a few years  about how it's cost them more to get the loans back than it will have cost to give them out....total c@@@s
