Is families some coded language for landlords

Whatever happened to the ubiquitous "hard-working"families? I hope we are not going to allow lazy barsteward Greek families to do attic conversions with cash borrowed from good, prudent, French and German banks

Somebody at the studio tweeted that one of the make-up people sorted his hair and he immediately ruffled it up again when she left. It's all an act.

Being accused of squeezing someone's thigh at a dinner party 20 years ago deflects from other verifiable accusations being taken seriously. Straight off the Trump playbook.

Yeah.  I once saw him burp on a bus and not apologise.
It's outrageous that someone like that can become prime minister.

Actually I am not sure it was him.  Somebody with blond hair, 30 years ago and what was he doing on a bus heading for Achnasheen?

Probably off to see his lover and slip her a grant for making plastic penquins.

It is people like you that legitimise accusations of fake news.

You should be ashamed.

He does love buses. He said so on the telly this morning, so...

The Johnson/Trump comparison continues.

Yesterday - I didn’t squeeze her leg at a lunch.

Today - I don’t remember the lunch in question.

Tomorrow - I never eat lunch.

Next week - I don’t eat.  I never eat.  I’ve never eaten anything in my life.  Never.  FAKE NEWS.

I thought the ITV question guy was a bit harsh. "If you can't remember it then how do you know you didn't do it?"

By that logic how do you know you haven't done anything?

Just watching a re-run of the Beth Rigby interview - he talks about the Irish border situation, and customs checks, as if this was a new problem that has only just come up and that a solution will be found.

How can anyone take the cretin seriously? How can recent polls be showing his popularity is on the increase?

Generalisations can be dangerous thing to get into, but I used to naively believe that people were pretty much the same wherever you went in the world.

Thanks now to Boris and his army of supporters I've had to seriously revise these beliefs since coming to live in England.  (temporarily)

No doubt someone will come on here soon and explain why so many appear to love and even idolise the guy.
