FairWeatherFan
Thought I would compare the league averages to last year. So far the Premier Division has seen an increase. Not sure if its as much as expected at this point. Obivously some big games still to play that will bump things up further. For the 22 teams that played in the Conferences last year and in this year's First Division Conferences they're holding up reasonably well considering the loss of the bigger Premier Division teams. Wouldn't call it poor. For the premier clubs those that have seen a loss are in single digits. There's still big games, ground hop and the season run in to come. Everyone should see an increase of some sort. Some expectations should maybe be dampened as people realize the nature of the pyramid. The East has lost Kelty and Bonnyrigg. Those are big games with travelling supports gone. Current standings would see Bo'ness replaced by Edinburgh University. There's another negative trade off for the EoS Premier. That's just how it goes unfortunately. The First Division averages are also pretty good considering the loss of bigger teams in last year's conferences.
HibeeJibee
Don't see how these figures are "poor" at all. End of December is a particularly bad time for them to be released, in LL and EOS terms, as the derbies fall the next 2 weeks. Despite that most Premier are up 30-100 which is what you'd have hoped for moving on from conferences (even Blackburn, Camelon and Linlithgow in effect... last season's got boosted by groundhop). For only 4 clubs in First Division to be down more than 30 - despite no longer playing in conferences v "big clubs" - is very encouraging (again Dunipace were groundhop too - ditto Inverkeithing and Peebles). Here's all clubs in Scottish league system averaging under 500 at end of December. EOS clubs highlighted: 463 Bonnyrigg 400 Formartine* 399 Brechin 394 Kelty 381 Inverurie 373 Cowdenbeath 371 Annan 352 Linlithgow 349 Stranraer 348 Wick 345 Edinburgh City 344 Fraserburgh 334 Berwick 328 Forres* 317 Bo’ness 292 Tranent 288 Musselburgh 284 Albion Rovers 270 Buckie* 267 Fort William* 237 Nairn 232 Penicuik 225 Turriff* 220 Huntly 219 Broxburn 206 Hill of Beath 205 East Stirlingshire 197 Deveronvale* 193 Camelon 191 Dunbar 190 Dundonald 185 Lossiemouth 180 East Kilbride 176 Newtongrange 175 Clachnacuddin* 171 Spartans 170 Brora* 154 Rothes 151 Cumbernauld 150 Strathspey* 149 Crossgates 144 Gala 136 Civil Service Strollers 135 Sauchie 133 Keith* 132 Threave 128 Jeanfield 122 Dalbeattie 121 Blackburn 120 Gretna 119 Edinburgh Uni 111 Glenrothes 110 Whitehill* 104 BSCG 96 Haddington 92 St Andrews 89 Caledonian Braves 89 Tweedmouth 88 Coldstream 86 Vale of Leithen 84 Newton Stewart 83 Dalkeith 75 Inverkeithing 72 Oakley 71 Arniston 70 Uni of Stirling 69 Lochmaben 66 Burntisland 65 Dunipace 63 Leith 63 Nithsdale 63 Stranraer SOS* 60 Tynecastle 59 Abbey Vale 59 Creetown 59 Easthouses 59 St Cuthbert 58 Mid Annandale 58 Peebles 57 Hawick 56 Preston* 54 LTHV 53 Kinnoull 50 Upper Annandale 47 Edinburgh Utd 47 Ormiston 43 Heston 42 Wigtown 39 Lochar 38 Craigroyston 37 Heriot-Watt Uni 29 Stirling Uni EOS* 20 Dumfries YMCA 18 Caledonian Braves SOS* 18 Bonnyton* Edited January 3, 2020 by HibeeJibee

Belter1
Fantastic crowd and great that EoS has arranged derby games at this time. Shame there was no goals for either support though

Burnie_man
Counted 210 at Broxburn v Blackburn today. Given they've sold over 1,400 tickets for St.Mirren, and there's no Premiership fitba, a bit disappointing.

It would be the same after the game or if we had been in a cup final. Hopefully though the Scottish Cup ties have generated some new fans that will start going every week. A few seasons ago we would of been lucky to get 3 figures at this tie, so it's good progress that the attendance at Albyn Park are the healthiest they been for years. I think the BUSC set-up has helped a lot in growing our attendance. Member clubs support other member clubs in their big days which is why I reckon most of the 1400 supporters will be connected in this way. Just my theory through Blackburn now have a similar set-up don't they? Aren't you seeing a positive growth in interest, e.g. attendance?
