The cut after tomorrow’s round will be top 70 and ties. There is no 10 shot rule. If scoring is like today cut line likely to be +2. Currently tied 66th is +1. Big ask for some of the big names who have struggled today.

Those on +2 ended up tied 72nd tonight which would suggest the cut might well be +3 or +4.

Augusta is a course that naturally suits Tigers game even when he's playing piss poor. The problem for him is they only play there one week a year, he can certainly win another couple of Masters but come a course that isn't Tiger friendly and he's going to struggle. He isn't going to catch Jack as the other 3 majors are now essentially Tiger proof.

In the same way that the square yard of real estate above his neck is whats going to stop Rory from being an all time great.

St Andrews in two years isn't.

Currently in the lead and playing very well.
Why does no one here like him?
I must have missed something.

He seems an angry b*****d. Known to launch clubs all over the golf course when not playing well, in fact I think he nearly hit someone in the gallery at the Scottish last week.
According to Ewen Murray he is a different guy off the course and very quiet

Gym done.....now time for a day of golf. Let’s see how Rory bounces back today. Hopefully Boab McIntyre has another good round

Hopefully indeed.

Odds of 80-1 as outright winner available. Must be worth a couple of quid.

Fairly benign conditions at the moment, but rain forecast for later so it looks like the morning starters will get the best of it.

Projected cut currently +1, might wander a shot or two up the way depending on the conditions later on.

Hopefully it won't worsen too much with Knox and MacIntyre due out this afternoon.
