Nice day for the game today, hopefully a big crowd to help cheer us into the Semi-Final. Lie Forrit

I think it should be a good crowd Halfwit, no Hearts or Hibs, hopefully keep the run going. It will be a tough game against a good side who have caused us big issues over the past few seasons.

Well first defeat of the season, be interesting to see if we get a reaction next week against my favs for the league.

One of they games, Dunbar as always work hard and look a decent outfit. Second half we totally dominated the game after going a goal down from poor defensive passing. We wasted so many chances got a late equaliser to then lose to a goal from the last kick of the ball to a goalkeeping error from big Sinky. A lot of errors on the lead up to the goal. Winning has become a habit, this defeat nonsense is not the best.

Great win against a strong Tranent team., who will no doubt be up there this season.

Dunbar were down to the bare bones today, with only 15 available....3 of which were keepers.  Great heart and determination . Well done lads.

Backs to the wall stuff at times for Dunbar but they defended well. Although Tranent had the majority of possession they really struggled to create a lot of chances. Hit the post and a couple of long shots. Just felt it was one of they days. Some key players missing still or just coming back from injuries and not quite up to speed yet.

No excuse but thought the ref had a bit of a shocker today aswell.

Well done Dunbar and good luck in the next round

Well said Belter, Dunbar battled so well. Where we the better team today? Yes. However they battled and fought for everything, it’s a reality check for the manager and his players. The TJ’s are a big concern now and teams fight hard against us and see us as big scalp.

Good to read your responses and that from Belter.

Thought that Tranent would win, but having beat us earlier in the season, Dunbar continuing to get better in the last couple of seasons.

All 4 clubs who make the semi final will believe they can win the cup!

Agree but we should have enough to deal with that. Would like to see young Ciaran starting next week. Hopefully brad Barrett gets back up to speed and starts aswell.

How many man of the match performances have we seen from dean whitson so far? He’s top drawer and we are lucky to have him. I’m surprised a bigger club hasn’t came in for him.

Big Deano is a class player. Just realised is was Chris Gray who scores the winner! That’s a right slap in the coupon. Great player but thought he was a BR player?

Released from his contract this week - both parties happy to agree and Dunbar are the benefactors!

Disappointed when Chris left Musselburgh to sign for Tranent last season. Surprised that he was allowed to leave / let go by Tranent this season. I’d have him back at Olivebank in a heartbeat!

Tranent need a decent goalie, Stinky no good enough, to many mistakes !!

The lad has made one mistake in the past year that I can recall and it cost us the game! He’s saved us loads of time last year, he pulls off a great a save last week after coming on when Ally got injured. So, we’ve got a decent goalie and a very good goalie who played yesterday.
