Omnishambles
A lot of people thought Darvel were a formality to walk that playoff. What a performance. Best couple of weeks I've had as a Tranent supporter.

Totally agree over both the champions going straight up - in the near future hopefully. I'll have a pop at Darvel 2-1 with around 5-600 crowd (wild guess) The attendance was probably double your guess. Darvel started the better, but Tranent came more into the game as the first half progressed. McIntosh's opener on 39 minutes silenced the home fans for the rest of the afternoon. Darvel did hit the post and had the rebound cleared off the line early in the second half, but they didn't trouble Mason thereafter. Jamie Docherty spurned two or three chances on the break, before sealing a deserved win, after Currie set him up with a chance he could not miss. Cue delirious celebrations in the away dug out. Pretty accurate report on the game Darvel had more possession without ever really hurting Tranent the 3 lads at the back were tremendous l thought every Tranent player worked tirelessly and credit to the manager for his tactics finally the officials were excellent
PELE
Well done Tranent. Much rather have you in the league than Darvel. You are a proper club. Good luck next season (not too much though).

AM-1
Well done Tranent on an amazing achievement & good luck in the Lowland league. Great photo of the lad with the cash that makes that knob Darren Miller, currently tossing it off abroad on a stag trip, look like an even bigger waste of space if that's even possible. Taking nothing away from u guys but Darvels arrogance & attitude ensured they got what they deserved in the end. Well done to one and all once again .
