Has anyone else been following this? They have just set a new record for a transpolar circumnavigation of the earth, staring from Florida, crossing the North Pole, stopping in Kazakhstan then Mauritius, then over the south pole to Chile, then back to Florida.

If you relied on mainstream media you'd be lucky to know it was happening

look at this couple of c***s - slightly overdressed for sitting in a luxury plane for a bit, being wanked off by Magdalena (I bet she was circumnavigating their poles - with her tongue)

the aeronautical equivalent of 'full kit wankers'

Excellent.

(Magdalena is a wid though)

don't forget their 'stop over' in Mauritius - i bet that's a real bind, too; and newly oil-rich Kazakhstan with it's  'ultramodern, 97m-tall Bayterek tower offering panoramic views from its observation deck. The Ak Orda Presidential Palace is topped with a massive blue-and-gold dome. The giant, tentlike Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center houses a shopping mall and indoor beach resort....' - i've seen itineraries for luxury cruises that are shitter than that agenda !

Captain Scott's expedition went to the pole in nothing but their lounge suits and an extra pair of socks, ate their dogs and then all died of exposure; i'll bet they're turning in their shallow, miserable, icy graves

definite porn film to follow too - stewardess Magdalena 'trapped' on a plane with eight blokes for 44 hours, with a bit of island-hopping in the indian ocean thrown in for good measure to allow for 'servicing' by native support-crew, err, members

and to evoke the spirit of the apollo programme to justify their extended piss-up/shag-fest/world tour - what a set of wankers

eta: not that i'm letting it bother me, at all

...and beaten to their ultimate goal by the Norwegians as a result

I wonder if the following month's Aftenposten had a 'Robert Falcon Scott, Captain Oates, crew of the Terra Nova, King George V, Lord Kitchener, Emmeline Pankhurst, Fred Allandale, Covertcoat, Percy Woodland and Aston Villa F C - your boys took one hell of a beating...." type front-page rant ?

You've made me laugh so I'm away to Google Percy woodland, and Fred allandale.

Percy doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. I'd also have went Marie Lloyd rather than the allandale guy. I gave his YouTube clip at least 30 seconds before I decided to write off his entire career.

I'd have thrown young Winston Churchill into your Norwegian list. As a young man he had a particularly punchable face.

quite right too - look at the state of the bloke - clearly a wrong'un

he's obviously pictured here with an early prototype of the controversial "f**k pram" - god knows what's going on under that overcoat....

Magdalena must have had her head trapped in a vice when she was younger.

I don't think they'll have been doing much sightseeing when the average time on the ground at each location was less than an hour.

Quite a lot was live streamed on Youtube via satellite, I was just surprised that it seems to have been pretty much ignored, where if it had been Richard Bloody Branson onboard you'd have got hourly updates.

Yeah, there wasn't much point to this, but is there a point to any world record? Plus it's properly noised up the flat earthers, as the Mauritius to Chile flight would be physically impossible unless they had an aircraft that could average at least 2000kph.

Aye, we really needed to put that to bed once and for all.
