Good to see him start but still miles off it. 23 minute mark perfect example the RB Lamptey had to rush in and do his job for him defensively as he can't/won't do it himself. Good on the ball but he'll be good on the ball till he's 65. That's never been the problem. On the ball he's CL level. Off the ball a bad amateur player. He'll leave on loan in January. We could trust that or our own eyes, where it was blindingly obvious Gilmour was one of Brighton's best players on the day.

I never seen the game so its hard for me to know. Reports on here are good and I had a look at a Brighton forum and reports were positive also. However the BBC ratings are usually biased towards Scottish players, think alot of Scotland fans vote the players up. So it was a surprise he was rated so low. Not for me. He's the best passer of a ball they have but an absolute liability off the ball. These ratings are actually a very good guide cause thousands of people vote in them so the idiots get averaged out. I didn't see anything yesterday to make me think he's improving on the issues he has. He did grow in confidence throughout the game and hadn't played 90 minutes for about nine months so that will have been good for his fitness but those were the only real positives.

As for goals it was Gilmour's header that was responsible for Arsenal's second goal. I noticed you said you're not very good at football. Quelle surprise. Well if you were you'd know you get taught at ten years old you head that out wide, not weakly into the middle of the box for someone to smash home like Gilmour did. Watch it, now I've explained that to you it will be very obvious. Quote where it happened then? £10 charity bet that he will leave on loan this month? I suspect I am much better at football than you ever were, I'm just not a fantasist who thinks he was a professional. Not that my ability, or lack thereof, has anything to do with how I judge a footballer. You think you know better than Brightons world renowned recruitment team. You are a well known fantasist. You thought he was doing terribly and doubled down despite him just playing 90 mins in the league. This is going terribly for you, and I expect it will get worse, you have a long way still to dig I think. How low will you go? 1 hour ago, ArabFC said: We could trust that or our own eyes, where it was blindingly obvious Gilmour was one of Brighton's best players on the day. Correct, he played the full 90 and the Brighton fans seem pretty happy with him. Not spectacular but perfectly solid at this level. 59 minutes ago, BingMcCrosby said: I never seen the game so its hard for me to know. This was almost true wee man, you missed the word analysis off at the end. It's either bitter Norwich fans that he moved to the top league, or the weirdo fantasists on here putting him down. It means absolutely nothing of course. You don't have to look far for wild BBC rating calls. And your second paragraph makes no sense - you're just going to keep posting regardless right? It doesn't seem to matter to you how frequently you embarrass yourself and make basic errors. It's a little endearing again, you make a complete arse of yourself but keep coming back for more. It's resilience, I'm sure it happens to you in real life too. 36 minutes ago, HalfCutNinja said: Not for me. He's the best passer of a ball they have but an absolute liability off the ball. Imagine taking the views of a guy who pretends to be a professional footballer who met Obama? Imagine thinking BBC ratings are a better source than the manager, who kept him on all much, or the fans who seem happy with him. Imagine agreeing with Halfcutninja and Bing - these are the people you want to be like? Really? Edited January 1, 2023 by Satoshi

I'm not speaking, do you not understand between oral and written communication? Three months for what? You think he will be loaned out in the next three months? Given the transfer window is only one month long that doesn't seem too different to what I'm proposing - unless you think he's going to Mexico or something? Who knows what's going on in that head of yours. But sure, if he gets loaned out in the next three months I'll pay £10 to charity, and if not you will. Posting the receipt on here. Are you playing 3D chess and the 3 months is a ruse, I.e. he doesn't get loaned out end of Jan and you use the other two months to disappear / raise the £10? If you want to talk football, specifically Billy Gilmour, then please do so. If you want to make ham fisted insults then please send me a grovelling PM which I will then ignore (like I did with your last grovelling PM). Don't pollute the thread with your terrible attempts at banter, stick to the PMs please. Edited January 1, 2023 by Satoshi -
velo army
He would stop spouting pish if youse would stop responding (and fucking quoting!!). But you know that. I'm not sure why Gilmour is so shite at defending. Perhaps it's a fitness thing and he's preserving himself. Otherwise that's worrying.

I think Halfcutninja and Bing will keep making terrible posts regardless tbh, they don't want to talk football, they just want someone to talk to. I'll ignore them for a bit and maybe they will go away, and seek more sustainable company. Brighton would have known all about his defensive stats when he signed them, seems they are more comfortable about it than you. The experts consistently seem to rate Gilmour. 10 minutes ago, dundeefc1783 said: I'm sorry but you are making similar insults to HCN in the post above. So you are just as bad. The guy who called me a nutcase at the top of this page? The whole thing is a complete waste of time, but it's clear some people love to dish it out but can't take it back. I'd be happy to just talk about the football tbh. Edited January 1, 2023 by Satoshi -

Popular Post Aubrey Maturin
This spat very much reminds me of HB v Supras back in the day that made this part of the forum unreadable. As such Pep and Supras sorry Satoshi can have a couple of days off to give us all peace and when they come back they can take their "debate" to PM and let other users enjoy the board. Thankyou

Bing.McCrosby
Away to everton tomorrow. What's the deal with Mcallister and Caicedo? Is this another potential start for Bilmour?
