He started the season as their first choice centre mid, and he’s been dropped to the bench. Unused sub again yesterday, as Norwich pick up their first point of the season.

what a sado, utterly clueless and clutching at straws to make a point that is utter garbage.

As Farke pointed out, Gilmour has played more minutes than any other Norwich player this season.

In the interest of being pedantic we know this statement isn't really true as Grant Hanley had played more minutes at the point that Daniel Farke said that, but yes he had played a significant number of minutes.

On a completely different level again tonight. The kind of player we’ve been badly missing for years.

Going in at half time 2-1 down we needed players to stand up and be counted. That 20 minute spell after half time he was simply phenomenal. Showed bravery that belies his young age and properly dragged us onto the front foot. Not many players can do that.

Do you only big up Rangers related things? 🤭

Not exaggerating in the slightest but I'm genuinely in awe of this exceptionally gifted, young man. It's one thing to watch him at home on the tele, but to see what he's really capable of in the flesh is just a sight to behold. One thing for certain is that he's already cementing his position as the best Scotland player in my lifetime. He wouldn't look out of place in the best teams in the world. And he's only fucking 19 years old.

Both the games he excelled in, he was used as a deep-lying playmaker.

Today Kante was there so Gilmour was playing as an 8 which you can see isn’t his game.

Gilmour-McTominay-McGinn is Scotland’s future.

Currently have McGregor playing his best stuff and Clarke being a dick playing McSauce at the back, but defo on course.

I still think Gilmour is a bit raw but the potential is there for everyone to see,if he continues playing like that Jack isn't getting back in the team.

I don’t think raw is a word that fits in with Billy Gilmour tbh.

I think that honour still goes to McFadden for me. In a Scotland jersey only (before anyone starts talking about his club form).

Bit too early to say that for Gilmour, but the signs are that it could well be true within a year or two. Last night was his best game. If he plays like that every game, he'll surpass McFadden quickly.

He's the least raw 20 year-old I've ever seen. The only thing he perhaps struggles with are shooting, tracking runners and holding his defensive position, everything else is already close to flawless. I have no idea how a player can possess so much game intelligence and understanding of space at such a young age.

I think this is pretty spot on - I think he has generally been fine defensively with us but there is clearly some work to do there.

If he can improve his shooting, he will be unbelievable.
