It’s out now.

Our Clydebank u19 played Cumbernauld U20s tonight was not there but were 3 up finished 3-3 sounded like a really good game.

We play Penicuik next Friday at their place, I think they are new to the league? Been good testing ourselves against Development opposition, wonder how much longer the West clubs will sit back and do nothing to progress the game here 🤔

There doesn't appear to be anything stopping Clydebank applying for the U20 league whilst a Junior club.

I thought you had to be in lowland eosfl or sosfl

Looking at the requirements for membership, it appears anyone can apply, although whether a Junior club has tested this I don't know.

Musselburgh played in it 4 years ago whilst a junior club before they joined EOS . You also have SFL clubs taking part. Edinburgh City and East Fife.

Maybe you're thinking of U21s? Because in 2014-15 there were only seven U20s and none of them were Musselburgh! https://www.eosfl.com/item.php?frmft=True&pg=league&pd=1049&fsea=6&fcomplgeShowAll=&fexpand=&fhidegrp=&it=79

Selkirk also started the season Ginaro but withdrew mid-season.

Musselburgh were part of the 19’s eos league when it was a Sunday. Lasted a season. Ended up having a cracking side, but the hierarchy pulled the plug on it. John mcglynn used to help take the side along with a few other decent coaches

I enquired at the end of last season to the league and got blanked.

I also contacted a club within the league who said I couldnt apply?

Not sure what the deal is?

BSC

Cut out the middle man club and contact the Lowland League secretary instead? http://slfl.co.uk/contact-us/

The rules are clear that Junior clubs can take part if they are invited. http://slfl.co.uk/rules/development-league-rules/

MEMBERSHIP

  1. Membership shall be open to the Under-20 Development teams of all the clubs in membership of the Lowland / East of Scotland / South of Scotland Football Leagues and invited clubs who are Full or Registered Members of the Scottish Football Association Ltd.

Clubs from all senior leagues participate - SPFL (2), LL (9), EOSL (17) and SOSL (3).

Don't think any junior/amateur clubs have been admitted since before U20s era began.
