Um, what teams are in false positions?

Anyway, these will be a wee bit more spicy from the pyramid angle.  Certainly could have been easier for Talbot given some of the the cannon fodder they could have got.

To be fair, the only teams that could be argued being in a "false position" are teams that might in normal circumstances now have been in the EOS Premier or are in there but normally wouldn't be there. And that could only be said for a handful of teams who just did or didn't make the cut in the transitional season. LTHV could be one of those examples, who everybody expected to make the Premier but missed out due to a poor start to the season.

Dundonald are definitely in the place they should be. I don't think they'll be challenging for the title, but they'll be a decent side in the division.

In a couple of seasons time the leagues will look absolutely nothing like they currently do. The dust of all the upheaval just needs to settle.

No offence, but you are havering complete and utter shite. If you havent been paying attention to these leagues why are you talking complete and utter mince?

The dust has settled, all we'll see in the East going forward is natural progression via promotion and relegation. The "original" EoS clubs like LTHV and Preston may get promoted to the EoS top flight at the end of this season but with the "new" clubs now in residence there its going to be tough for them to consolidate and stay there.

If only the West hadnt shat the bed and allowed themselves to be led by donkeys they too could be arguing the toss over dust settling.

Interesting ties for the junior clubs in the first round! Especialy the Kelty v Talbot one looks the tie of the round for me, surely that has to be the one picked for live TV?

Kelty Hearts v Auchinleck Talbot

Edinburgh Uni v Lochee United

Forres Mechanics v Banks O'Dee

Its clearly the tie of the round. Throw in the Barry Ferguson factor and it will be the TV game

Agreed, if it's the TV game it will be a 7pm Friday night kick-off. That would reduce the number of traveling fans I guess, but I assume it will still be a very healthy crowd.

I've not been to Peffermill yet, I think I'll go to this one. New ground and it will be good to see how Lochee are getting on after having been at the last 2 rounds as well.

Kelty-Auchinleck is obviously the tie of the round so ought to be the TV pick. But the BBC recently showed a Fort William documentary, so it wouldn't surprise me if instead they chose their match, as a continuation of that story, selling it with the photogenic views up to Ben Nevis and "can the 'worst team in the country' win a match?" - which they've got every chance of doing by the way, Vale of Leithen are poor.

When going to East Peffermill for Edinburgh University v Lochee Utd, you must go in to the pavilion tea bar - the home-bakes are legendary!

They could easily do an extended highlights piece or something on the Saturday though, rather than asking Vale and everyone else to travel there on a Friday night - especially there's always a chance it could be postponed and Fort could spoil things with a win on Wednesday against Clach!

Which Fort will it be though. Caley reserves are doing quite well in midweek matches.

Kelty-Auchinleck it is. 7:05pm KO on the Friday.

And if you're planning to go, rather than watch on TV, the match is all-ticket!

And all the so called big teams in the lowland league and highland league are out so well done to the juniors
Bonnyrigg, LL leaders are still there. Linlithgow, EoS second spot are still there as are Penicuik and Broxburn. Buckie, HL leaders are still there.
