thepaisleypanda
On 02/07/2019 at 10:48, Estragon is a fud said: I find this is still the case in most offices. Guys in shirts and trousers, and girls in whatever the f**k they want. They stoat about in jeans most days in my workplace. I used to work in a place a few years ago (we didn't see meet with clients externals) where, in the summer months the girls would come in in sandals / leggings etc with casual tops / t-shirts etc, but, the guys were meant to wear a shirt & tie even in the middle of July. A suggestion was made to management that they "relax" the notion, and they came back with "you can dress-down on a Friday if you choose!" - Result? The guys all went the other way & came in in full Sunday-best suits each Friday!
BFTD
Surprised this hasn't devolved into a "which knot is best?" deathmatch yet. There has to be a style of knot that P&B can label as worn only by Ones For The Watching. The wean started out on his years of tie slavery in September, and was having trouble learning the more traditional Western knots, so the Oriental knot was a lifesaver for him after PE classes for a while.
