We had a few chances but we were just not on it today. Nothing on the bench to challenge the 11on the park, which is the worry. 4 key players missing which is hindering us. Thankfully a grass park but not a great watch at Bellshill. My pie was just OK. Without a doubt the best team Kello have played this season have been Lanark who handed them a 7 goal thumping, played Bellshill away in the first game of the season and only a late offside goal from the hosts separated the teams in a fairly even game. The vagaries of football, eh.
Stormrelic
Anyone know the reasons for call off...? We were told midweek that the park was contaminated with glass so the game couldn't go ahead there .
larky9
Great result for Larkhall today especially after 3 bad defeats! Hopefully they can go on a wee run now and push up the table! Here's hoping m8
PA14
Great entertainment on Friday night down at Ravenscraig Stadium, unfortunately Port on wrong end of the result. Good game and after bringing it back to 4-3 from being 4-1 down really thought we would get the draw. Onto next week hopefully get the 3 points and try push up the table as we are slowly creeping down to the wrong end. Also great to see so many out at the game on Friday night . Really great crowd treated to a great game.
PA14
How do you guys rate your teams start to the season? Is it what you expected ? or is your team over/under achieving so far?

Added to the fact that it looks like its one of those leagues where everybody can beat everyone else on the day and nobody is running away with it. Exciting times ahead
Hong Kong Phooey
Game of the season today at The Gow. The ref tried hard to waste it with the worst display of refereeing I have seen in years. Greenock started strong and went into a one nil lead. So many bookings and The Gow go down to 10 men but equalise in the second half. At the goal the Greenock goalie lamps big Neily and it’s 10 aside. The Gow finish the game stronger of the 2 and win 3.1. Great hard fought game.
bc57
Lanark 1 Shettleston 1 Little between the teams but thought they missed the better chances. Lanark took the lead on 71 minutes which they only maintained for 5 minutes
Hong Kong Phooey
Only 3 points separate 1st and 7th. Very competitive league.
spit
Maryhill v kello, very one-sided affair, hearing Maryhill gaffer has chucked it after the match, kello slowy getting players back from injury now but still had 7 signed players unavailable today, with manager having to come off the bench today for the final 5 mins
Stormrelic
Carluke 3 bellshill 0 Great performance & result for Carluke today ,2-0 up after 4 minutes as the rovers caught the hill sleeping ,plenty chances for both teams before Lafferty scored his second & Carlukes 3rd with a delightful lob shot from about 25 yards out , hopefully we can keep up this good run & keep ourselves in the top half .

A clear two handed palming of the ball in the build up to the goal was as clear as day, referee intimated he had seen it but the player was protecting himself was the response....protecting himself from what,no where near his face....a very poor decision..... still unbeaten and another tough away tie next weekend at Carluke, do they still do the curry pies ...

Was that your goal or ours? Absolutely no idea what you are referring to. Don't recall your keeper having a save to make so he wasn't a factor, apart perhaps from his kicking, which wasn't great.

In the build to your goal your player in a central midfield area clearly tries to control the ball but then proceeds to palm the ball with both hands facing the shed side so surely most spectators would have seen it...the referee seen it and stated he was protecting himself....from what ,it was chest height....

I was on the other side and genuinely was oblivious to this incident. However, from what you say, the ref saw it
HaroldWilson
If a goal is scored from a handball, regardless if it was intentional or otherwise, then the game restarts from a drop ball. I wasn’t at this game but it’s the new rules brought in this season. If the referee said ‘he was protecting himself’ then he knows it’s a handball and should have acted accordingly

Town Crier
Carluke Rovers 2 Shettleston 3 Great performance today from the whole team, but special mention for Johnny Howat controlled the middle of the park ,showing of his new kaisers .... Took a fair kicking also but credit to the weeman got up and continued before eventually being replaced ...... deserved victory which keeps the unbeaten run going.....
