That and the horror of discovering a hoard of crusty socks at the back of her dads wardrobe.

I misread this as herd of crusty socks and was ready to comment about the creative imagery from such a throwaway comment

I hadn't realised quite how widespread vaginoplasty had become in porn until that whole kerfuffle.

She actually seemed more interested in taking pictures of her winking starfish, so maybe the folk complaining were getting confused?

Her gash is utterly horrific, looks like something out of Alien vs Predator.  😱

It wasn't until I saw Alan Power in a Killie lineup that I realised that Power was a surname.  Then whilst walking past a Paddy Power last year, I was hit with the realisation that this was simply some guy's name, essentially Ireland's version of William Hill (as opposed to some energetic-sounding brand name).
Only then did the Father Ted "Clit power? I knew a Father Clint Power" joke make any sense.

Eta: only after typing that do I realise that the same applies to Austin Powers.  FFS.
Similarly Max Factor was the guy's name and not just claiming the mascara would make your lashes as big as possible.

I just got around to watching Peter Kay’s “Phoenix Nights” for the first time recently. It wasn’t until I was on the 2nd to last episode that I realised he was also playing Max the doorman.
