CaspianChris
Solid win for Ivory Coast and they probably should have scored a few more than they did. I can not think of too much threat from South Africa, although they had a decent penalty claim turned down and a decent header over the bar first half.

CaspianChris
Tunisia v Angola next up today. I think this will be a close game with a draw being the probable outcome in this one either 1-1 or 0-0.
CaspianChris
There is the Tunisia goal anyway from a well taken penalty although less hight on if ando free keeper probably saves it. A bit of a stupid challenge for the defender to make though.

Christophe
Double down my earlier winnings on a score draw here, every chance still at the moment, c’mon Angola!
CaspianChris
That's a couple of poor offside decisions going against Tunisia not long ago, one shockingly given against an attacker in his own half. Copying Scottish officialdom .

PP were offering £30 out of the full £46 with 15 minutes to go following the equaliser so have just taken it! Thinking of now putting that on a draw in the France - Romania u21 game, both teams will qualify with a draw and one will go out if there’s a clear winner so I’m expecting it to be fairly farcical!
CaspianChris
Thought that would end a draw the only thing being score or goalless. On to the Mali game in an hour.
CaspianChris
Mali have been pretty comfortable and at 4-1 up on Mauritania should pick up the points now for a good start to their campaign with 15 minutes left. The ref has been pretty poor in this game though.

CaspianChris
Good with for Mali in the end. Just the games in Group F tomorrow: 5.45pm Cameroon v Guinea-Bissau. 8.45pm Ghana v Benin. Probably both games should be routine wins for Cameroon and Ghana.

Interesting group that, all four nations share that Gulf of Ghana basin coastline in North West Africa, hopefully lead to some hotly contested “derbies”.
CaspianChris
Once again the favourite not making it easy for themselves against the underdog, this time Cameroon drawing 0-0 with Guinea-Bissau. Of the side probably favourites to win probably Senegal although only against Tanzania have looked good, although Algeria also looked not bad against Kenya.
CaspianChris
There is the opener for Cameroon and it is all to easy for them from a corner and a good header into the net. However as I type Cameroon double their lead with a cross into the box poorly defended and Cameroon make the most of the opportunity to go 2-0 up.
CaspianChris
A good win for Cameroon in the end after a far better second half. I would imagine that Ghana will be a similar winning scoreline.
