Mark Field MP

Top story all day is the Mark Field MP intervened to stop a protester walking on stage in the middle of  the Chancellor's speech. Usual suspects on twitter are outraged and calling for his sacking/imprisonment.

Surely I can't be the only one who thinks this is a nonsense non-story?

A man assaulting a woman is a non-story? Even taking into account that you're from Dundee you're surely trolling.

You’re not the only one.  Thankfully, however, you are in a minority.

If this was a right-wing male who tried to storm the stage before being stopped by a woman nobody would have any problem with it. This is sexist and wrong.

Can you actually state an example where a woman has grabbed a man at a political convention and dragged them away to stop them from speaking?

Why would it matter? What point are you trying to make?

Is your point that they don't/can't do it? That would be a sexist thing to think.

No, my point is that they shouldn't do it and they don't. So why is it ok for a man to do it to a woman in your view?

The middle class white woman part of this is key.

You see people getting launched out the football or the dancing more violently never mind the police on black males.  The guy is a dick but the fuss is due to the protestor's social class.

Fucking hell 😂

McCafferty describes himself on Twitter as a writer Morton and Leyton Orient fan. Why would anyone take an attention-seeking tosser seriously?

I have no idea what you’re trying to say here but good for you.
