Bonnyrigg Rose 2019-20

The Shire fans should post more laughing emojis to really ram home how unbothered they are.
Bonnyrigg will play in the SPFL before the Shire get back there. Chucking money at well known flakes like Bobby Barr isn't going to cut it.
You should actually take in some Lowland League games before even bothering to come down to this forum.

You know f**k all

If the mallow still went to Falkirk games he could have got a local derby in League 2 next season.

Do you disagree with me? Bonnyrigg are a better supported, more stable club than the Shire and will play in the SPFL before the Shire do.

Think you need to drink more mead to wipe the memory of getting stuffed by an ex junior diddy team again LOL

Hardly stuffed roseyposey. Bonnyrigg barely knocked 2/3 passes together before going HOOOOOF

But it works for us what works for your lot?

V good result yesterday.

i am quite enjoying the fact that we are not expected to win this league, never had that for a while, makes results against  “top” teams all the more satisfying.

We wont win every week but will be up there when the prizes are given out again as we were last year. Kelty and EK will be who we can measure ourselves against

Dalbeattie next week at home, think we will take another 3 points to keep up the good start

I'm quite sure it'll go this season. You've got 'Shire v Kelty and Kelty v 'Shire on the derby days (international weekend and Premiership winter break)... Bonnyrigg v Berwick on groundhop... Berwick v Kelty in early October, with the return and 'Shire v Bonnyrigg on last day... couple of cracking Friday night games in Spartans v 'Shire plus Spartans v Bonnyrigg... not to forget EK as well.

Indeed looking back into EOSL you had 650 at Linlithgow v Jeanfield in last season's groundhop and 1,200 at Kelty v LTHV title decider (IIRC or was it 1,500?) providing good benchmarks.

There is something very satisfying about being in a small ground with a packed crowd, we have broke 1000 a few times in recent seasons (all cup games) but you need an away team with some fans which is lacking a little in this league atm but do see that changing.

When is the Bonnyrigg v Berwick game? If a Saturday and the weather plays ball I think that could be a very large crowd

Saturday 21st March. Part of the groundhop with 2pm kickoff so should add on 100-200 neutrals. There are no other non-league games south of the Forth that afternoon, bar a few in the southern Borders. Beforehand is Dalkeith v Peebles (11:15am), afterward Easthouses v Haddington (5pm) and Newtongrange v Linlithgow (7:45pm).

Hearts v Ross County unless moved for TV.
