  • 2 weeks later...
Stirling Albion managed to hold Cambusbarron Rovers to a 2-2 draw.
Well done lads.

Bending of the truth there Neilly. The squad contained a couple of first team players, a handful of youths, 5 former players along for a kick about and the management duo. It was a fundraiser, nothing more.

Pre-season friendlies start today against Raith Rovers, although scores really are totally irrelevant for all clubs at this stage, imho.

You're absolutely right, scores are irrelevant... However...
What we can expect to see over the next few weeks are "weaker" teams picking up a friendly win over a higher league opposition, lording it up claiming they beat a "strong team" while the higher teams claiming irrelevancy in the result saying they fielded a "team of young lads and trialists".

Edinburgh City are playing St Johnstone XI today. I fully expect to see Stuart Cosgrove there or he will be outed as a fair weather glory hunting bawbag who can GTF!

It's a closed door friendly at Oriam tbf

Wasn't closed door - over 150 people there. City won 2-0.

Have you got any knowledge of our line up?

Cant find it anywhere.
