Jason King
Stick in anyway, Euro 16 in France was a corking holiday. Applied for Copenhagen and Budapest as well as games at The Weegie Dome and the final.
Pie Of The Month
The latest SSC email where they advised members to apply via this process would suggest they know they'll be getting a shite allocation. I'm on 12 points so should be fine too but applied just in case the SFA spectacularly mess it up.
Jaggy Snake
I've applied for all Hampden games as I'd like to go regardless of whether we qualify or not. During Euros and World Cups I watch every game on TV, so if it's being played 20 minutes down the road from me I'd love the chance to be there, even if it's a shite game.

Pretty much where I'm at. I think I'll be fine with the points system, I have about 13 now. Depends how many tickets we get allocated I suppose. Knowing UEFA it'll be about 3000 per team. Likewise - I'm on 21 I think, and should be on 28 by end of campaign. 13 will be fine, but if you go to the rest of the qualifiers, you'll be on 17, as we only currently have 6 home games on the membership, so the next 4 will all generate points.
Scary Bear
Email from UEFA. Last chance folks!I’ve only gone for the Friday game so far. I was thinking of putting in for the last 16 Tuesday game on 30th June too, but €100 for a couple of tickets every game even for cheap seats makes me reluctant to do so. I suppose the group winner will be somebody good at least.
Scary Bear
f**k it, not like we get the Euros coming very often. Scotland is full of cheap b*****ds like me.The only game I saw with strong demand for the €125 tickets was the opener at Hampden on 15th June.
Marten
I've applied for all Hampden games, 1 in Dublin and the final at Wembley. Out of the Hampden & Dublin games I'd be happy with 1 ticket & delighted with 2. If I get a ticket for the final I'd be absolutely over the moon. Chances are very slim, but worth giving it a go imo.
Adamski
I’ve gone for three of the four Hampden games, plus a punt at a ticket for the final. Can’t really justify the costs if they all come good but hopefully one or two will.

Does it go back more than 10 games now?

It's 2 points per away game and 1 per home game now plus an extra couple of points for renewing and being a member for 3 or more campaigns. Max number of points will eventually become 32 once there's been 10 home games under the new system and 10 away games at 2 points to replace some of the games where we got 1 point.
Hip Priest
Whoops. Had foolishly assumed the deadline would be this evening rather than 1pm so I appear to have missed the boat... Wasn't mad keen on the idea of potentially forking out hundreds of pounds many months before even knowing who was playing (I'm quite confident it won't be us), but still annoyed at myself!
Burnie_man
They can take an absolute running jump at those prices. I should hopefully get a €50 ticket through the SSC if Scotland qualify, if not it's TV for me. €160 for North Stand?

The non-Scotland games, or probably just "games" will see plenty of availability nearer to the kick-off. I believe the take-up so far has been "sluggish" to put it nicely and at those prices I'm not surprised.

Must be a lot of folk in for the cheap seats.

Scary Bear
I’m going to check and see how many Francs (or possibly Euros) I paid for tickets at France ‘98. I’d imagine most big football tournaments like the Euros and World Cups are a bit pricey. It was 145 Francs for a ticket for Scotland v Morocco game in '98. Not sure how much 145 Francs were worth back then. Edited July 12, 2019 by Scary Bear
forameus
There's eye-watering amounts being talked about being put down on another forum I visit. Upwards of 3000 euros. I get it's a major tournament, once in a lifetime stuff for some, but jeeeeeeezo. If Scotland make it, and we get England at Hampden, I'll be gutted I won't have a ticket, but outside of that it'll just be mild disappointment for Scotland's games, and sheer indifference for something like England vs Belarus at the same stadium.

According to the UEFA website, very strong demand for the 50 Euro tickets and funnily enough not much interest for the 125 Euro and 185 Euro tickets. Unsurprising. It's not like the Euros are going to come to Scotland that often so I'm willing to pay £44 a ticket. Paying over £100 for a ticket when you don't even know who'll be playing seems mental. I suppose though since then football has become massively commercialised. What price were domestic (Scotland) tickets of that era Vs now?
