geo87 Posted November 17, 2019 Share Posted November 17, 2019 To put on a performance like that yesterday with 9 players missing was a delight to watch and the only thing missing was the finishing which was a culmination of sitters , great goalkeeping and just downright bad luck haxton - injured marr- injured perry- working meggat - injured mcd - injured robertson - injured miller- suspended ferns - working mcpherson - injured that was nearly our team pre season and league cup and to stay near the top of the table is testament to the squad we have we now move on to Blantyre next Saturday who are THE form team in our league and It’s probably good we go in as slight underdogs come on the vale Must make the committed boys who are turning up every week feel great [emoji106] 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Look back the stats you will see the starting X1 against the Talbot/Glens/Hurlford and other pre season games we won against Beith/Kilbirnie/Buffs etc they contained all this missing players. The boys that have stepped up have done remarkably and it’s been said week in week out how difficult it is with a different 11 but we will get on with it. Plenty of positives to take from it all. The depth and quality across the whole squad has kept us 2nd and in last 32 of Scottish, hopefully next week it willbe last 16. Aim this year is get promoted and we want to do well in Junior Cup or else no point and playing. Are you if the same opinion as blackie gold then - referee to blame you got beat off glens?
