tellyboy
East End v Montrose Roselea 100 yards away is on but to be fair you have to allow for travel in such decisions. Both pitches probably both unplayable at 7am

jc1
Absolutely delighted to be in the last 16. My players deserve all the praise possible the character and desire today was an absolute joy. But more importantly the togetherness won us the game. Today was a proper cup tie 2 teams having a proper ding dong at each other. This is why I'll ALWAYS defend my players cause they work their arses of for this club

Let's hope we get a "good draw" and take it from there!. Praise also must go to JC and the management team as the effort starts from the top down. Lets keep this spirit and determination going into Saturdays game.....Go The Hoose!!
fu punter
MATCH REPORT FROM BRIDGE OF DON'S FACEBOOK PAGES Bridge Of Don Thistle v Fauldhouse United match report A fantastic crowd turned out to see Bridge Of Don Thistle host Fauldhouse United in the Scottish Junior Cup. It was 3rd time lucky in terms in terms of getting the game played, the game started with the hosts on the front foot with Darren Holt delivering in an excellent ball from the left however nobody on the end of it in the box. Paul Napier then found Wozniak however the header was caught by Matthew Craig. A good ball then found it’s way to Andrew Duffy who had a wonderful lob which went over the bar. Ewan Herriot had a chance for the visitors which hit the sidenetting before at the other end, a Liam Burnett pass found Stewart Rennie who half volleyed wide. Burnett was getting into some really dangerous positions for the hosts & a solo effort from the midfelder went just wide of right hand post. David O’Donnell then had a volley towards goal thwarted by Rhys Fyfe with the Thistle defence having to weather the storm to a degree. Bridge Of Don Thistle took the lead on 41 minutes & it was a fantastic goal to match as well, the ball 30 yards from goal & up stepped Paul Napier with a free kick which he converted with perfection into the top left hand corner. A good competitive opening 45 minutes with Thistle probably doing enough over the piece to merit being a goal in front at the interval. Half time Bridge Of Don Thistle 1-0 Fauldhouse United 2nd half Fauldhouse levelled on 49 minutes, a fantastic ball came in from the left by Dean Richardson which was met by Andrew Duffy who produced a fine diving header beyond Rhys Fyfes reach. Just 2 minutes later, Thistle were ahead with Nikolas Wozniak getting into a great position before a shot from a tight angle deflected beyond Matthew Craig into the net. A Liam Burnett ball found Sam Muirhead midway through the half which was offside however thwarted by Matthew Craig irrespective with Thistle continuing to be on top however having a lack of product in the final 3rd. Fauldhouse levelled with 10 minutes to go with a fantastic strike by David O’Donnell finding the net which was disappointing from a Bridge Of Don point of view. United got a late winner on stoppage time with David O’Donnell running in on goal & finding the net beyond Rhys Fyfe. A disappointing one to take for Thistle however we wish Fauldhouse United all the best in the next round of the competition.

jc1
Overlooked. They said they wouldn't go against referees judgement. Quick question, was the video evidence you had re condition of pitch allowed to be used at SJFA meeting?
jc1
Only used when it suits them. The stance of they wont go against the referees decision was out of order as we supplied more than enough proof that said safety concerns never existed Thanks, just asked because I noticed Tom Johnston was quoted in Daily Record as saying "I haven't seen the video footage but it's fair to say it could be used as part on any investigation."
