Wimbledon and the grass court season

Simona Halep is magnificent. She gave probably the greatest display of her career on the greatest stage of them all. Perfectly executed the perfect game plan to nullify Serena, forcing her to move and hit balls she wasn’t comfortable with.

Halep had the least unforced errors in any Women’s Slam Final since IBM started compiling stats. Her movement was brilliant.

Also you can get the whole “wid not” thing in the skip.

Federer will get done in today in no more than four sets. Djokovic just looks dialled in, and when he is in zen mode he just can’t be beaten.

Federer will need to serve well, finish points early and hope Djokovic is off.

Sadly it just kinda hits home how many Murray could have had if he wasn’t blighted by injury. Djokovic could win his fifth crown today. At one point you could claim Murray was a better grass court player than Djokovic.

Was actually thinking this re. Murray. If, and it's a big if, Murray gets match fit again, perhaps the 'basically' two yrs off might present him with a bit more length in his twighlight allowing him to bag another couple.
