He's achieving enough by getting to spend the year waltzing around the world on tour, raking in prize money and having a good time as well. More professional sportspeople than you'd think are really just in it because it's a skilled job rather than being dedicated to winning things; at least in singles' tennis people can largely choose whether to support him rather than some mercenary rocking up at your football club and stealing a wage for years (see Shimmin; Dominic). 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
