Tranent still in south challenge cup aswell as title race. Semi final of south cup is 4th April if they see off hill I beath. March 28th is also EOS League Cup R3 and King Cup QFs (granted only Haddington could be involved in latter). A condition of entry to the lowland league should be they don't participate in this competition. Fitting league fixtures round it is absurd. It devalues our league, devalues our league cup and creates massive gaps in the fixture list for some and fixture congestion at the end of the season for others. This cup on its own only takes up two Saturdays from the LL calendar - 17th Aug and 30th Nov, and BSC played league games on those dates anyway so not sure why you're complaining. This cup has access to a few Saturdays, but only 2 are 'dedicated' (Aug 17th/Nov 30th) - the others are shared (e.g. Jan 18th with Scottish Cup R4); and BSCG played league games on both anyway, v Caledonian Braves (H) and Berwick (A).
