Presumably in quick-order after forthcoming ties. R3 is Saturday 30th November.

Tuesday
East Kilbride v Tynecastle
Linlithgow v Preston
Stirling Uni v Bonnyrigg

Wednesday
Civil Service v Hill of Beath

EK-Tynecastle especially interesting given visitors blistering form in EOSL First Division. CSS-HoB also intriguing. Bonnyrigg and Linlithgow surely favourites.

East Kilbride 1-0 Tynecastle
Linlithgow Rose 4-1 Preston Athletic
University of Stirling 0-4 Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic

Tynecastle''s rampaging run in tier 7 didn't translate in a visit to the tier 5 holders, but 1-0 suggests a close tie. Bonnyrigg blow away Stirling Uni. Comfortable win for Linlithgow, albeit they trailed early-on.

CSS v HoB is tomorrow. Kelty v Berwick is Tuesday coming.

Don't know any details but apparently R3 draw is later this week.

EOS sides dominate:

Lowland League (4)
Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic
East Kilbride
Gretna 2008
Kelty Hearts/Berwick Rangers

East of Scotland League - Premier Division (8)
Bo'ness United
Camelon
Crossgates Primrose
Dunbar United
Dundonald Bluebell
Linlithgow Rose
Tranent
Whitehill Welfare

East of Scotland League - First Division (2)
Dalkeith Thistle
Haddington Athletic

tbc (2)
Civil Service Strollers/Hill of Beath Hawthorn
Kinnoull/Penicuik Athletic

Tynecastle played very well and unlucky not to take the tie to extra time or further.

Tynecastle on top first 20 mins but East Kilbride controlled the rest of the half when they scored their  goal.

the second half was very even but last 15 minutes Tynecastle were all over their opponents without creating many clear cut  chances.

proud of the team and the way they played. Bring on Saturday and an away match against the second placed team in Inverkeithing.

Civil Service Strollers 1-2 Hill of Beath Hawthorn

Tonight saw another LL scalp fall to EOSL Premier hands but it was a game without much in it from what I saw. Had the tie gone all the way to penalties neither side could have had much complaint. Early goals made it 1-1 then it was eeksy-peeksy for the rest of the half. Not much different after the break with Civil looking more dangerous only for Kinnimont to blast in from distance on 67mins.

After taking that lead the visitors gradually retreated to a defensive posture wave after wave of Strollers attack couldn't pass. They had some weak penalty shouts waved away, and late-on blazed over a good opportunity.

This was the debut of Civil's new floodlighting system: an arrangement of 3 pylons down each side of the park apparently recycled from Meadowbank 3G. Altogether it was an impressive installation.

Credit to the pockets of Edinburgh City supporters who dropped-in on their way back from Camelon... especially to a 'young team' with their drum who had already composed a variety of chants describing the night's events, which while scoring low on execution compensated by originality.

R3:

East of Scotland League - Premier Division (9 or 10)
Bo'ness United, Camelon, Crossgates Primrose, Dunbar United, Dundonald Bluebell, Hill of Beath Hawthorn, Linlithgow Rose, Tranent, Whitehill Welfare

East of Scotland League - First Division (2 or 3)
Dalkeith Thistle, Haddington Athletic

tbc - Kinnoull/Penicuik Athletic

Cracking draw.

Bonnyrigg v Bo'ness tie of round.

Crossgates v HoB throws up a nice derby.

Kelty, EK, Linlithgow and Camelon should progress.

Tough to call Tranent-Penicuik and Dunbar-Dundonald.

Tasty draw -

I predict a semi final consisting of Bonnyrigg, HOB, Kelty and Tranent. Shaping up nicely
