Crossgates Primrose 2019 /20

Recommended Posts

We are delighted to announce our pre-season friendly schedule, as we build up towards an exciting season in the Premier League.

The eye catching game is the visit of our near neighbours and Championship side Dunfermline Athletic.  We will also welcome Lowland League opposition to Humbug Park, as well as meeting some of our old rivals.
We will kick our pre-season games off on Wed 10th July with a short trip down the road to meet Inverkeithing HS, as they prepare for their second season in the EoSL.

Kick off times to be confirmed in due course.

Lewis Crosbie played for Raith Rovers U20's team that won the last Development league the season before last, a good lad.

Crosbie seems like he could make it it at full time, I half thought he might get a shot if we can’t bring in the winger we are looking for , not entirely sure about Sawers from my limited looks.

We are delighted to have secured the loan signings of Lewis Crosbie & Lewis Sawers from Dunfermline Athletic.

Both players will join us until January.

A big thank you to Dunfermline Athletic for allowing us to take both players on loan.

Hasn't he been retired for over a year and 39? Tough to get back upto speed. Will be interesting.

Interesting certainly. One thing going for him was he has never relied on pace at all. So he might not be able to run the length of himself, but his touch and physical presence should still be well and truly there, along with a wealth of experience he can pass on.

He wouldn’t be the first to drop out of spfl thinking they’d get an easy time and end up struggling but he then there’s been many who have shown their class. I suspect templeman will be the latter, but that’s far from certain.
