naebor
What teams will all be entering an under 20s team between here and lowland and any idea of the setup? Watched a few games last season and a fair few very decent quality compared to the lower rated eos teams

HibeeJibee
There are 23 clubs in the current Lowland-East U20 arrangement. I would expect most / all of those to continue next season though there was a suggestion of LL sub-forum of Mid Annandale dropping out. Given their location they and Bonnyton have to sustain very arduous travelling... though equally it gives them a USP to compete for players locally. Before or during the season a poor total of 5 clubs quit - Blackburn, Gala, Preston, Tranent, Sauchie. Of those at least Blackburn appear to be trying again. Clubs thought to be joining - ranging from official confirmations to statements of intent, from proposals to rumours - include Arniston, Bonnyrigg, Broxburn, Civil Service, Glenrothes, Leith, Penicuik, and St Andrews. Finally with the SPFL reserve leagues breaking-up to an extent there was a claim on LL sub-forum that Alloa and East Fife were interested. Edinburgh City already play in this league, whereas EK were invited into SPFL setup last season to help bulk it out. Glenrothes Strollers and Sygnenta did not obtain admission to EOSL; while Bo'ness plus Linlithgow were linked with joining - Rose had said such publically - but are now linked with sides joining the southern section East Juniors. Leaving aside Jeanfield, the D+G and Border clubs plus 5 small central belt EOSL sides: the only clubs not mentioned here in on way or another are 'Shire, Crossgates, Dundonald and Dunbar. Mix all that up it looks like about 30 teams. Upto 32 could be accommodated in 2 conferences and without extra rounds in cups. naebor
Blackburn have applied and I believe pre-season starts next week.Hopefully West Lothian club can stay in eos dev league as there’s not much routes into senior football for young people from that area , all the best with that and will need to take a game in sometime.
