charger29
Another player we are looking to bring into the national team. He had one appearance for England U19 eight years ago. There doesn't seem to be much info about his Scottish ancestry, more about his Guyanese after they tried to bring him in a few years ago. My guess is one of his grandparents in Scottish. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/steve-clarke-targets-ryan-fredericks-16249540 Assuming he does get called up, by September we could be a very quick team out wide. Roberson and Fraser down the left. Possibly Fredericks and Forrest down the right.
Broken Algorithms
It'd certainly give us a bit more balance to the defence, given the void at right back.

Jambomo
Hes a very good player, certainly the best option we'd have in that position.
charger29
Hes a very good player, certainly the best option we'd have in that position. From what I've read he's not really rated defensively. It could give us an option for games against #4/5 seeds like Cyprus. We could use a fit Tierney for games where we'll have our backs against the wall.
LondonHMFC
He has played well this year when West Ham have had three in the central midfield role, when they have dropped to two, he has looked pretty horrific. A real enigma of a player, there is a 50/50 split about his future, some think he should be replaced ASAP, others think he should be first name on the team sheet. He has a lot of pace, and gets forward regularly, but he seems to favour cutting inside opposed to getting down the wing and crossing. His positional sense at times can be bit of a worry, but as I said previously, this is often down to the shape West Ham play. Also, he received a Perfect 10 score for his display against Southampton towards the end of the season. Not sure what that actually means, but it sounds damn impressive.

Quentin Taranbino
Should also be looking at Bobby Allain, after 14 Ligue 1 appearances this season in France. Played in goals a couple of days ago in Dijons relegation playoff (which they won securing Ligue 1 football for another season). I'm not saying he is better than the other goalkeeping options but certainly worth a look, has gone on in interviews about how he would love to represent Scotland as his mother is Scottish. Has had some good reviews in his performances this season in what has been a struggling team by all accounts
the_bully_wee
Fredericks would be a very good option for us; he is questionable defensively but competing at a good PL level, and is still quite young so should develop further under a very good manager. It's obviously not ideal having to look into guys who probably feel, at best, ambivalent about Scotland, but he's miles ahead of any other eligible right-back options we have and would solve that particular problem. He'd bring a really good balance with Robertson operating on the other side; Robertson/Fraser and Fredericks/Forrest would make us potent down both flanks.

We really need to make the most of this as other countries have. Genuinely couldnt care less if they dont sing the national anthem

Genuinely couldnt care less if they dont sing the national anthem Well, aye, but I was meaning it's not ideal more in the sense that it would be far preferable to have bona fide Scots playing for us, where possible. I trust that Steve Clarke can and will stamp it out and create a more positive environment which players want to be a part of, but players such as Fredericks and clubs such as West Ham haven't exactly been easy to deal with for Scotland managers in the past decade or so.
DAFC.
Right-back is probably our weakest position for depth, so if he's up for it, then get him in.
Only one David Marsh
He was part of the Fulham team that got promoted to the EPL and was in the efl/championship toty that season too
Bishop Briggs
Definitely worth considering. Matt Targett is another option for a reserve left-back.

Targett can still play at left-back if necessary and covered for Bertrand when he was injured. Definitely a good option, especially at wing-back, if he's willing to switch allegiance back to Scotland.
Gordopolis
Has Targett actually indicated that he's Interested?
nsr
Surely a player called Targett is legally required to be a burly centre-forward we can hoof aimless long balls in the general vicinity of.
Bishop Briggs
13 hours ago, Gordopolis said: Has Targett actually indicated that he's Interested? Targett played for Scotland at youth level before switching to England. He does not have any senior England caps and could switch allegiance back to Scotland. There's a lot of competition at left-back (Chilwell, Rose, Shaw, Bertrand for starters) for England so Targett could/should be interested.
