14/15 - drew 2-2 with Falkirk, lost 2-1 to Livingston, lost 3-0 to Alloa, lost 3-1 to Raith, lost 3-2 to Hibs. 1 point.

Cheers for the info about the form, we are doing well just now and good team spirit it seems, giving the reaction from the players after seeing out the Brechin game with the win, young players too, so its still a work in progress but still potential to come, 2 tough away games coming, wonder if Pyper should come in for at least one of them with  Barr, we would be tougher to break down, not that Todd isn't solid but hes definitely slower than Pyper and Pyper  would be more suited to the Hampden pitch

Hopefully Jordan Allans not out too long,  he can run at teams when their tired, when back fit.  was Cox suspended on Saturday? done well considering he was out too, thought Brechin looked really poor at the back, their striker was shocking too , one of worst at this level ive seen in while, he played like he was frustrated too

Yeah I personally would have Allan as impact sub when back, Renton has definitely started the season well and has been working hard for the team, Cox is hopefully back soon, he definitely knows how to score goals at this level , like the look of the young boy from Hearts in the midfield, will need to see more of him tho, ive missed couple games this season

A fit Jordan Allan is far too good to be an impact sub and needs to be starting.

I really like Jordan Allan as a player but he might need to come off bench a few times, until hes back sharp like he can be,  he will definitely score goals for us, where as Renton probably wont but can offer a lot like holding the ball up for others to come into play and tracking back to help the midfield when needed, its good to see us having options, not seen much of Michael Herd, so hopefully we don't need another centre mid for now, which is a position we have been struggling to get a player well suited in there, seems the boy from hearts has given us a lift and something different

Not at all, Jordan Allan isn’t a patch on Connor smith. And rents has been excellent so far this season.

But they aren’t mutually exclusive. Taylor played up top on Saturday so Allan would come in straight for him.

Last season Cox upped his game and efforts massively and has scored this season too, he can be hot and cold with his discipline and his end product but personally i think we play better with him in the team, hes a battler and defences don't enjoy mixing it with him from what I've seen .

Jordan Allan is a confidence player still young and developing. If he gets the break and scores there is  a fair probability he will score more in a game the inverse equally true. Remember he is the youngest player yo play professional football in the UK and now at the age of 20 trying to find his feet again after a whirlwind journey talent doesn't leave you just belief. I think he has a good personality and fits well and has made the right choice to stay at Cowden with the correct guidance and support could have a very positive future, as I say only 20 so plenty of time & scope to develop.

There is definitely potential there and 100% agree regarding confidence, You can see his head drop if things don’t quite happen for him in a game. I thought we missed the presence of coxy on Saturday but do think he has been waking a fine line in recent games. I love the fact he plays on the edge and he wouldn’t be the same player without it but I do believe he could control some of the petulant behaviour a bit better.
