Excellent to see Greg Stewart get his dream move to rangers, a player that I always knew would go on to play at a high standard.

To be fair he's being playing at that level in the Premiership since 2014, briefly higher in the games he got for Birmingham. As that's his team though it will be a big thing for him, good luck to the boy came a long way.

McInnes didn’t have a clue. What a waste.

That’s simply not true.

yes in his first spell at Aberdeen he was used out wide of a front 3 which isn’t his game.

the 2 nd spell however, he was often played behind the main striker. Unfortunately he was just gash, although he didn’t appear fit a lot of the time and was basically too lazy.

The main difference between his spell at Aberdeen and Killie was his strike partner. Brophy makes decent runs, has plenty movement and a bit of pace. Cosgrove is an over rated statue, a dumpling if you like, who scores penalties and tap ins. It isn’t Mcinness’ fault for mis-using him.

I have been to 8 Aberdeen games in 2019 so feel able to comment.

Aye Steve Clarke knew his right position at Killie, he'll maybe get a call up.

Steve Clarke had a good partner for him at Killie, made all the difference. Watched brophy play for Scotland the other day and thought ‘ no wonder Greg did well with him’.

Greg did OK at Killie, but you are correct, he didn’t look fit. He also didn’t look interested. That is where the manager should have stepped in. He didn’t.

Did OK? Greg was brilliant for Killie - Player Of The Season candidate in the first half of the season.

Greg never looks fit that is just his style - he had that look at Cowden as well. Kenny Dalglish often didn't look fit but that was an illusion. McInnes signed Greg for a second time and then put him again into a system that didn't work for Greg. Nobody making runs so he can slip the ball through, nobody showing for him and hitting a return pass, and so on.

We would only be due monies if Greg was transferred cross border before his present contract ended and a transfer fee was paid by the buying club to the selling club. So do not believe anything will be payable - previously Birmingham paid Dundee a fee when under contract at Dens. We received £7680 from Birmingham for that. Then Aberdeen obviously paid a fee the first time Greg was loaned to them by Birmingham - we received £3000 from Aberdeen. We obviously received nothing from Dundee when they signed Greg as they waited till after his contract expired in the season of his 23rd birthday so they could sign him without any compensation or development contribution being payable.
