Auld Heid
Glad our visit to Inverkeithing is over for another year, I'm not a fan of plastic parks in soulless surroundings. Add in a howling bitter wind and I've had better Saturdays. Added together it served up a poor watch, with Linlithgow playing what little football on offer. Therefore absolutely delighted to come away with 3 points. Now we can look forward to the Scottish against Raith. HTG -
UpInTheStand
Can I just give a quick shout out to Swifts who really looked after my old dad and I yesterday. A big thank you to them and wishing them all the best for the rest of the season.
RRFC_Liam
Hi Raith Fan here, I’m just into ask what has the weather been like through your way (has it been snowing or mostly ice?) and do you think the games in massive doubt on Saturday? Pitch inspection 10am Saturday - rearranged date Tuesday at 7.45 if it fails

I think you can take it for granted that it will be Tuesday at the earliest. Pitch still has a covering of snow and likely to be frozen underneath. I can't see the weather in the next 24 hours helping enough to get the game on -
fanfromafar
Best of Luck to all at Linlithgow Rose tonight, Don't allow our noisy neighbors from the west to hog all the spotlight. All the best.
Auld Heid
Not to be, a great first half but unfortunately we didn't capitalise on our big chance. Raith controlled the 2nd half and ran out deserved winners. All the best to Raith -
HibeeJibee
Rose fought valiantly and taking that 1st half chance could've made it a different tie; needing to drop Heaver at 11th hour maybe blunted your attack too. Nice atmosphere. Some capers by ref and linesman for ultimately disallowed Raith opener .

FuzzyBear
Must have made a few quid in the cup run. Hopefully some will be invested in a centre forward as that is only position squad is weak.

Sneddon is decent but injuries are a problem and rarely manages 90 mins.

Played 18 league games and scored 66 - almost 4 goals a game, not sure a centre forward is something that is needed - BTW Sneddon is more than decent - he would walk into any other team in the EOSF.

HibeeJibee
Rose have become inured to winning this season - even a loss at LTHV got chalked off! - but now tastes of defeat... exiting the 2 biggest cups in 10 days with a tough SF v Edinburgh City up next on Tuesday. Interesting to see how they respond.
Footballfirst
Rose was the better team in the first half today, but fell apart after conceding an o.g. for Tranent's second

Second half.............could have been five or six, your keeper kept you in the game. Hopefully you guys do get promoted to the LL, best of luck for the rest of the season.
