Or bump over to the Camelon thread. Oh wait…..

Yes everyone needs to calm down. Great three points for the 🌹

Kudos to Penicuik who are relentless this season.

Now to move over to the Penicuik thread. Oh wait....🙂

Certainly the team to beat at the moment and a crucial match next weekend with Tranent hosting a Penicuik. A win is nearly a must for the Belters, given a win for Penicuik would move them 4 pts clear with 2 matches in hand. Linlithgow will also like a Tranent win given, they are probably the only other team with a chance of catching the top 2.

  • Aubrey Maturin changed the title to Linlithgow Rose - 2019 onwards

FFS Alan, use the snipping tool in Windows or take a screenshot instead of pics of your screen.

Penalty incident - before that it should've been a free kick to Linlithgow when Camelon #6 goes up for the header. But great spot by the AR to get the ref out of a hole when #11 dives to win a penalty. (Love the shouts of "he has to go" by folk who clearly don't have a clue about the laws).

Also, looked to me like it should've been a foul before Camelon's goal, the player goes to ground with studs up onto/over the ball and the Linlithgow player has to take evasive action.

The tackle pictured above is an orange card but the line set by the ref on the previous two incidents mentioned is probably why he went yellow.

but it was the assistant ref who gave the pen then changed his mind. How can he change his mind?

The one for our goal probably is a foul but the boy has lost control of the ball. so not evasive action more he couldn't control it. Pen is a penalty soft but still a penalty

Penicuik and Tranent have still to play each other home and away. Two draws would be the best case scenario for Linlithgow I reckon.

Last 2 scheduled games in the league this season have Linlithgow playing Tranent then penicuik. If Tranent and Penicuik draw both their games against each other, the league is wide open and if Linlithgow keep their run going it'll make for an unbelievable finish.

There is no such thing as a "soft"penalty. It either is or isn't.

It was a dive. Be interesting to hear what the striker has to say about it, in the cold light of day. Maybe you could ask him.

Dunno, but officials are allowed to change their mind before play restarts - the main thing is the refereeing team got the decision correct, because you can see from the screenshots there was no contact.

Officials if they saw it as a team can change their minds that wasn't what happened. Linesman gave the penalty the changed his mind. He was closest to it. It was a pen.

Jamie allan should have saw red. Stowe should have got a 2nd yellow for kicking the ball away if he was being as consistent as you suggest as he booked greg macpherson for it moments before. Seems to bother you more than me.

We are moving on to next week's game vs broxburn
