Very sad to hear this. Thought TC would see his days out at Linlithgow. He's getting on a bit but Saturday showed how much ability he still has.

All the best to him for the future though. Proper legend.

Agree, it's sad that he was allowed to leave midweek without the last opportunity to say goodbye to the supporters.

It's been apparent in recent weeks, that we were clearing the decks.

Suggestion was that travelling from Glasgow 3 times a week was becoming an issue.  Add in the lack of game time due to injury / non-selection.  So maybe the writing was on the wall, that the time was right.

I genuinely thought, that he would retire once he finished with Linlithgow.

TC will be a player fondly remembered and will forever be a ROSE LEGEND.

Thanks for the memories.

Somina Dublin Green signs for Rose. Was at Staines last season.

Seems to have been a regular for them in the Isthmian League South Division Central last year, either side of play being suspended.

Came through Tynecastle's youth setup IIRC.

Good luck to the laddie and hope he is a success.

However it concerns me that we are signing unknowns without having seen him play whilst losing yet another experienced quality player from the squad in TC.

Some great players in that list, can't argue with any of them. Loved big Davie Beaton as well.

Davie Beaton was a cracking player but would be next level for me with the likes of Davie Finlayson, Kev Donnelly, Stuart McArthur, Davie Flynn

Certainly hope not.

He was at the side of the park not stripped. Maybe injured.

Game of two half's. We were poor first half. Two goals come from mistakes.

Second half we were miles better. Mitch taylor pushed up on the wing and got the goal. If we can keep going like that we will get out of trouble
