Cowden were very physical and wanted it to be a battle more than a football game. Take into account the worse surface in the SPFL too. We knew what it was going to be like and we failed to deal with it. Too many useless long balls that played into Cowden's hands. We had to get the ball down and play through them but failed to do it. We have learned a valuable lesson yesterday and we need to take heed! The pitch isn't the best but we don't have the luxury of the SFA relaying a new one for us every few months. What are your thoughts on the assault on the youngest, smallest, player on the park by the QP thug ? But it isn’t the worst surface in the SPFL - the ratings for pitches had 7 or 8 rated worse - it’s a handy soundbite excuse when you lose. I like the part where he suggests there was an alternative to going pro then offers nothing. I’m sure the 91% who voted in favour of going pro will be feeling anything other than the shame he suggests if Queens Park prosper from this point forward. He says the issue was about money and winning as opposed to survival? Don’t money and winning come as part of that?
