No it doesn’t

Perth is about 10,000 more than Stirling, they’re also the only team in the area where as you’ve got several clubs around you to dilute the fan base of neighbouring towns and villages.

There's about another 20000 in bridge of Allan, Bannockburn, dunblane. Which are basically joined on

Anyway, similar to everywhere there's a vast amount of of fans

And any provincial club lives and dies on how much there owner puts inst johnstone just have to thank god they have the browns

whereas Stirling have got nothing

No it wasn’t done by L2 clubs - the SFA proposed it when it worked to create the Lowland League and the pyramid.  L2 clubs weren’t consulted on the details

The League 2 clubs voted on it as part of the merger package for the SPFL. It definitely wasn't foisted on them.

Sorry to see Brechin go down as I have many fond memories of Glebe Park. Most notably the day that Thistle won promotion for the first time - a 1-1 draw meant that Brechin clinched the title at the same time so both sets of supporters celebrated together.

Looking forward to visiting the Glebe next season and wish them the very best next season except against Vale !!

I have them up at the top end of the HL next season,as long as they recruit well.

Biggest rivals will of course be Brora and the Broch....

Formartine United,Buckie and Inverurie Loco's are no mugs either .

Well we can’t say this ain’t been coming no complaints it is a deserved relegation.Massive changes needed at our club top to bottom be interesting to see who we can recruit for next season. Anyone else think patons managerial career is over before it started, getting a club relegated in your first job can’t look good on the CV....
That appointment after beating Albion Rovers was a joke. Those kind of decisions are why yous are where yous are.

It’s certainly better than 0.5 which is wrong and yes it was done by the L2 clubs to try and pull up the trapdoor. Personally I don’t think 9th or 11th in Prem deserve a play off spot and it should be 2 down in each League but I get your point about Regional Leagues.
Was all in favour of increasing the promotion/relegation between SPFL2 and LL/HL but the LL is quickly becoming a farce of a league.

No relegation yet again from the LL, adding the Old Firm Colts instead of the 100+ clubs below the LL. Then you have a couple of Uni sides and made up teams like Caledonia Braves and the fake BSC Glasgow.

FFS, can't have relegation when the leagues below didn't have any champions to replace the bottom team this season.

Colt teams 100% but BSC, Caledonian Braves and the Uni teams are there on merit.

Like SPFL 2 the LL should be opening their relegation and some of the clubs you mention will drop down.

A West Germany - Austria type arrangement?

Thought at the time they won the League 1 play-off they were one of the worst teams in that league, as some have already said they seemed to accept they were out of their depth in the Championship & decided not to invest in staying up and so started a miserable decline to where they are now. The Highland League is fine but has some good teams in it. Not sure how the club is financially but as we have found players in it do not come cheap. Players would need to be offered decent cash to come & accept travel mainly north rather than central belt.Is there still a parachute payment if so it needs to be spent wisely. Those supporters that stick with it could find themselves pleasantly surprized visiting new grounds to them & playing clubs twice ..A bit disappointed that Brechin tried to avoid their fate by playing but they need to sort things out and start again.

Brora, now undoubtedly seething at seeing Brechin top of the league from the first second of the season.  It's already all our's to lose.

The Broch are 'Fr' of course, a whole 8 places behind their southern overlords.

The same idiot was tweeting earlier that Brechin were looking to go into the Lowland League, sports journalists in scotland really know nothing about what they actually cover.\
