Is the game on saturday, notice on two different sites showing the HFL games being played on Weds 6th with a 15.00 kick off surely a misprint?

Why don't you go and check the Brechin website?

I dunno where you guys get your info but here's the list of sources you should rely on...

- fitbanorth.com
- highlandfootballleague.com
- SHFL club Twitter accounts.

That's it. Checking the BBC Sport website, Livescore, or even club websites is a waste of time in the main. The BBC have no interest in doing the job correctly. Livescore only copy what others put out meaning they often just unwittingly copy the mistakes. In some cases, club websites will be fine - Brechin, Wick, Huntly, Rothes, Fraserburgh - but the rest are extremely hit and miss. Clubs do seem to know how to work Twitter, however.

Also, midweek League games are almost always 2000hrs starts, with very few exceptions.

To be fair this doesn't list the kick-off times, though it should be obvious midweek games aren't being played at 3pm.

Saturday games are 1500hrs, and midweek/Friday night are 2000hrs, UNO. The site will post news if anything has changed from that.

Went along to this as a neutral and must admit was good away support in a decent crowd. As for the game first half both sides managed one shot that required the keeper to work apart from that rather scrappy. Locos scored early in the 2nd half, did not actually see the goal as the queue for the pie hut must have fallen fall of some of protesters like on the M25. It opened things up then with Locos looking dangerous on the break & going two up, a late pen was not enough for City. Going by what i saw dont think any of the two sides will be moving up a league come the end of the season. Brechin look a bit suspect at the back giving the ball away far too often, think Gary Wood was missing up front and it appeared City could have been done with a player to win and hold the ball up as it was not sticking up front.

Our worst performance of the season by a long way.

We all thought Locos were a decent team who simply wanted to win more than we did.

As you say on this showing Brechin certainly need to up their game if they want to move up a league.  Locos might be there or there abouts but judging on what we have seen this season I would say Locos are a better team than the Broch.

There are definitely some players who get a game because of their name rather than their performances. Right hand side was okay, Bain and Marc seem to care. Maybe feels like Kirk is trying to be too smart with the formation? Sometimes best to start at the basics and go from there.
