BOTH LIVI & RANGERS 2012 NEW CO SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT IN THE LOWEST TIER AS A COMPLETELY NEW CLUB & NOT PARCHUTED LIKE LIVI INTO TEIR 4. BUT THEN SFA/SFL/SPFL NEVER DO THINGS THE PROPER WAY ! IS THE LOSS OF LEAGUE VOTING RIGHTS AFTER MULTIPLE BOTTOM FINISHES IN TIER 4 STILL ON THE SPFL LAW BOOKS ?

There was no tier below League 2,when livi got demoted due to financial problems, there was no pyramid at the time.......

“We are delighted that the decision by the judge corresponded with the view of the Scottish FA and provides the necessary clarity to the league bodies and certainty to those clubs affected.” - Ian Maxwell

Bit of a joke that it went that far.

I can’t see it but in Would love to see us win the play off with a 90th minute fluke of a goal the seethe across Scottish football would be brilliant
Don't think anyone cares that much about Brechin if truth be told.

They do care about sporting integrity though and that is now sorted.

Good luck to who ever can prevail.

If Brechin end up losing to Brora will they go into the Highland League?

Or is that another legal battle if it ever happens?

If Brechin lose to either team they will go to the Highland League. Not much they can really do about that at this point, especially with a Midland League forming at Tier 6 under the HL for next season if all goes to plan.

Great news, correct decision. Looking forward to Brechin's and Cowdenbeath's response.

Why would there be a response? The decision is made. Opinions now don’t matter. For the record it’s the correct decision.

Brechin claimed last week they would take this to the SFA if the decision went this way - you're surely not claiming they were dishing out empty threats?

Good to finally get that confirmed. Shouldn't have needed a judge to confirm the blindingly obvious where the rules were concerned but I guess they still had to cover themselves from any possibility of future litigation by Club 42.
