The portable lights have been referenced as only a temporary solution. Guessing they just hire them out for midweeks and u20s until they can get something permanent in place.

20s play at little kerse get them when we need them. If we won promotion we would need them all the time

Hearing the goalposts might be moved again. Regarding lights. Leagues above LL, not happy.

Leagues above the LL already have their own requirements - entry level ground for League One/Two but Bronze floodlights required. Clubs who don't meet those requirements and don't get a waiver or period of grace by 31st March can't be promoted, so don't think the SPFL have a reason to be unhappy?

I think it's meant that the leagues above the LL aka the SPFL aren't happy with all the new members below. So they're pushing for more stringent licensing requirements to try and restrict the numbers.

That's how I took it. Since like you said the SPFL already have greater requirements to meet.

So i'm digging this up because of a couple of things. One there are games this weekend. Two I notice the cup now has a sponsor and is now the Soccershop Challenge Cup.

And 3 I was wondering if anyone knows if the trophy is the same as the Qualifying Cup (South)?

In tonight's game, BSC beat Kelty 6-5 on pens, after drawing 1-1 after 90 mins and ET.

I plan to go to HoB v Tranent tomorrow.  Tonight's result rules out the possibility of a Kelty v HoB derby in the semis.

Possible in football nation cup if hob beat camelon

What a great day for the players, fans and committee. The players were fantastic and deserve all the praise for the victory. Caley Braves are a good side and are doing well thus far in the Lowland league.

Hopefully this current form can continue and the lads can continue to challenge in the cups and league.

It has been a considerable time since Dunipace have been in the semi final of a cup. The club is a million miles away from where we were this time 2 years ago, both on the park and off it.

Exciting times!

Last four of the biggest cup competition in non league football.

Superb achievement. Well done.

Thanks, although the players and committee, all the helpers in and around the ground deserve all the credit.

There have been some dark days in the last 2 seasons, some frustrating days where you wonder which way to turn next, but days like today make it all worth it.

As you say, the final four of a national competition is not to be underestimated given our last 2 opposition teams.

Hopefully the clubs reputation can continue to grow and we can go from strength to strength.
