Blue-Toon
Jack Leitch signs for Stirling. How was he last year for you guys?He should be a very good signing for Stirling Albion. His form last season in League 1 was not as good as the previous season in League 2 when he scored 12 goals from midfield to help us win the league. 2 of his goals were against Stirling Albion. On his game he is as good as anyone in League 2.

No disrespect meant but honestly thought Jack would have been setting his sights higher than Albion. His form dropped off a bit last season for us, can be a very good player on his day but sometimes gets a bit casual & plays a lot of attempted passes without looking, he did score a few goals for us. Presume he was offered a deal with us but for whatever reason did not take it .Wish him well.

Vaguely remember his two goals against us a couple years back and seemed like a good player. Players good enough for the Championship and League 1 will drop to league 2/Lowland league for a contract in these uncertain times.

peternapper
Just had a listen to the latest Blue Toon Podcast which had Martin Johnston our General Manager bringing us up to date with the latest happenings at Balmoor, there has been plenty going on in the background. Season Tickets Said the club did not consider selling tickets earlier as it would be unfair to ask folk to pay for something that could not be quantified regarding how many games would be played & possible league changes. Next seasons tickets should be on sale next week at a reduced price to allow for fewer games although our cup games will still be included. There is also going to be a wall of fame to show folk that supported the club through the summer by not one person asking for a refund from last season, think the options are a 10% discount on this seasons ticket or have your name on the wall. The club have also used some of the community cash donation from the Edinburgh benefactor to purchase equipment to enable live streaming of home games, these will be free to season ticket holders & local homes, hospitals & the like. Was mentioned how well the 50/50 went & shows good support to the club. We seem to be a fairly forward looking club that are in good hands in these difficult times.
peternapper
Season tickets go on sale on Monday, as mentioned before prices reduced to reflect shorter season ours includes cup games as well. Also the new home game streaming service announced which is going to be a free service if games remain with restrictions on crowds. This service will also be available to hospitals & care homes etc in the Buchan area. Seems like good use of the community grant from the Edinburgh benefactor.. Great move from the club in these hard times for many supporters.
peternapper
Went up today for my season ticket that went on sale this morning, having reached a certain age now qualify for a concession so got it for £125 this for a main stand seat at all home league & cup games, also includes access to free streaming of home games, think this is a good gesture from the club at this time.
peternapper
Watching the Game – Good News Item 2 (Season Tickets now on sale) Sep 1, 2020 Peterhead Football Club are pleased to announce that Season Tickets for the 2020/ 21 season are now on sale. The Season Tickets will cover all SPFL League matches as well as any SPFL/ SFA Cup ties. For clarity season 2020/ 21 could be looked at in three parts. Part 1 – Games played – no crowd admitted (Situation in the Premiership just now.) Part 2 – Games played – crowd restrictions and social distancing in place (No firm date set as yet – Test event held last week in Edinburgh v Glasgow Rugby Match – there may also be a phased approach taken to lifting crowd restrictions) Part 3 – Games played – no crowd restrictions or social distancing in place The attached poster details the prices and how crowd restrictions that are in place due to Covid-19 are to be handled once the go-ahead to allow fans back into games is given. (Part 2) Season Tickets Firstly we would like to say thank you to our season ticket holders from last season. The club offered a partial refund to our season ticket holders as they missed out on four home fixtures due to games being called off after the ‘lockdown’ was imposed. No refunds were asked for and, at a time where our finances were extremely stretched, and those of many people who support the club were also stretched, we appreciate what support. Accordingly, season ticket holders who are renewing for the new season are entitled to a 10% discount on the prices listed below on the basis that last season was not concluded. We are already aware of some supporters who wish to donate that discount back to the club and again we appreciate that support. As a mark of that appreciation any fan who wishes to donate the discount back to the club will be given the opportunity to have their name displayed on a Peterhead Football Club 2020 ‘Wall of Fame’ which will be located within Balmoor. Crowd Restriction Seating Arrangements Whilst crowd restrictions are in place (Part 2) MAIN STAND season ticket holders will be accommodated in an allocated seat in the EAST STAND. Once crowd restriction measures have been reduced (Part 3) MAIN STAND season ticket holders will return to an allocated seat in the MAIN STAND. EAST STAND Season Ticket holders will be accommodated (Part 2) in an allocated seat in the EAST STAND – (There will be no allocation of seats to supporters of the ‘away team’ during the time when crowd restrictions are in place.) All seats will bear the name of the season ticket holder, and a green tick, to indicate that it is to be used during the time that crowd restrictions are in place. Seats (for MAIN and EAST STAND season ticket holders) are being allocated on a first come, first served basis. Crowd Restriction Ground Season Tickets Once fans are allowed back into games (Part 2) social distancing measures will be adopted for fans who purchase Ground Season Tickets. Online Streaming Whilst crowd restrictions (Parts 1 and 2) are in place, ALL Season Ticket holders will also receive free access to the new BLUE TOON tv online streaming platform. 28 total views , 28 views today

Blue-Toon
I liked Aidan Smith but his record for us was not the best. No goals in 29 appearances is pretty poor for a forward. I hope he has better luck wherever he is going to.

Velvet Donkey
We've taken Calvin McGrory and Jack Purdue on trialBoth very promising, and should do well in Div 1. I'd have liked to have retained them at QP.

Central midfielder, good technically and has bundles of energy. Was really unfortunate with injuries last season which prevented him from nailing a place in the eleven week in week out and once McKinnon came in and brought in the likes of craig Slater, he was resigned to the bench. Definitely a player in there and wouldn’t of been adverse to keeping him for the upcoming season Purdue is an interesting one, in terms of talent alone he’s right up there and his early performances, particularly in the betfred cup where he produced some excellent performances against the likes of thistle and airdrie suggested that we may of signed a gem. However like most young attacker in these leagues, inconsistently proved to be a downfall and ultimately he dropped to the bench. Before the lockdown, he had just been put out on loan to east stirling. If a manager can get a tune out of him, he is absolutely worth taking a punt on as he really does have ability in abundance
