Should get him a bit of game time which will be better for him than warming our bench Never to be seen again...
bluetoonscotty
Never to be seen again...That does, unfortunately, seem to be the trend with these young players we bring in
peternapper
Agree its a pity we never got a chance to see him in action, having seen Turriff in action he has his work cut out to shine there.
Balmoor Boy
15 hours ago, strichener said: Never to be seen again... This has been more or less Mcinally's system since he came to the club. Sign a promising local lad, get a bit of publicity in the local media and then put them on the bench and give them a few games. Thereafter they are usually loaned to HL clubs and disappear into the ether, never to return to Balmoor - this frees up space to sign a midfielder from the Central Belt.

peternapper
The P&J mentions Luc Bollan from Aberdeen, 19 year old centre half.

PFC tried to sign him last summer iirc. He chose full time football which is understandable.

Not sure if that has an impact on the club as they are our shirt sponsors.
blueone
https://www.peterheadfc.com/news/item/2888-simon-ferry-on-peterhead-and-wages-discussions Pretty sure this is the first time it's been mentioned on the official page that Ian Grant has left. Also a little hint to a new director coming on board??
peternapper
At best will need to be a bit of belt tightening when things start up again but as we have come to expect the club seem to have been honest with the staff who look to have accepted the way things are and are hopefully willing & able to continue with the club.

Blue-Toon
Looks like Jim will be in charge again next season. From the new website - Peterheadfc.org : Peterhead manager Jim McInally has player/ coach Simon Ferry as well as Alan Cook, Aidan Smith and Steven Boyd signed up for next season so far however he is not going to rush into re-signing talks with the rest of the Blue Toon squad just yet. Jim explained: “We have to be realistic and say that there will be changes in the squad as a lot of contracts are up and the budget I will be working with next season has still to be decided.” “We will not get a clear indication of what the budget will be until we know what league structure will be in place. With everything else that is going on in the world there is little to be gained by speaking to players just now.”

FREDDYFRY
You guys have been amazingly quiet on the subject of being shafted along with us and Forfar with potential 14 14 14 restructuring plan. Locally is their much thought or is it apathy? Genuine question! we need a public voice on this or it will go through and not a wimper as it’s only Diddy clubs like us and Forfar!
