Thanks for that.  Didn't think he did much tbh.  Was more impressed with Willox and Fraser.

Agree, although always difficult to tell in friendlies. First time I've seen Willox and looked good. Fraser looks a class player but short on fitness, could be good for us if he can get up to 100%.

Have we abandoned the squad numbers or was that just for the friendlies? Different numbers between the Aberdeen and Broch games.

Thought Armour did ok out wide, Willox looked ok in his brief appearances last season does the simple things well, Fraser looks as if he may be the boy to put his foot on the ball & look for a pass still a bit away from match fit. Aiden Smith looks like he could help out Rory upfront. Hooper looks a proper player whether at  full back or more central

Ticket prices have gone up for the season £14 for ground entry £16 for a seat.

It was £16 for a seat to watch Cove Rangers at Balmoor on Saturday whilst Raith, Dundee and ICT are charging £12.

I would have thought that each ground would be charging the same amount for this competition.

Good showing all round last night, first half contained Caley fairly well, second half we battered them & should have taken all three points. Aiden Smith looks as if he will torment plenty defenders this season, uses his pace well & is willing to run all day hopefully he can get a few goals to settle him in.. As mentioned a bit ironic that Ridgers missed the pen after pulling off some great saves to keep them in the game. Also worth mentioning a great gesture from the club giving Friends of Anchor the sponsors space on the front of this seasons away shirt

Watched the game on Dundee t v and was very impressed again by the Blue toon.

By far the better side in the first half, and although Dundee improved in the 2nd half , Peterhead should have won the game in 90 minutes.

A word of warning  to anyone who uses the Dee TV channel.........turn the volume down because the commentator is sooooo biased!

I've watched the channels of every club that has one, and this guy is the worst.

By a fair distance.

A bit of bias is expected, but he was OTT.

I’m sure some people may know, but for those who don’t there is a new Fantasy football Scotland app, I will leave the link to the app on Apple devices below, on Android just type in Fantasy football Scotland and it should pop up

https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/fantasy-football-scotland/id1469063365

I have created a league for all Pie and Bovril users if anyone wants to join, we already have around 30 people in the league just from the initial thread so hopefully we can get more, the code to join the league is

PRANJXBW

Hopefully we can get a good amount of people in :)

With Nicky Riley retiring and Liam MacDonald on loan at Huntly our squad is looking really thin. Rory being suspended for the first two games doesn't help either. Are we looking to add to the squad or get some players on loan?

Has there been any official announcement regarding Riley?

Sorry to see this but he is making the correct decision for his own future.  A genuine guy and the team is certainly poorer without him.

Yes noticed him warming up before the game on Saturday, hopefully he turns out to be as versatile & good as Jamie Stevenson has been for us on the right.
