an86
Tonight could be tougher for us than the tougher "on paper" fixtures. Airdrie are still a much stronger side than us, but there's a danger of letting the guard down a wee bit after positive performances against sides from a higher level. Exact same shape and attitude required. Tommy Block and Lewis Magee missing, so it'll give an opportunity to others to come in from the start. My main hope is for a non-slapstick performance, which we seem to reserve a special level of for Airdrie away.

Dundee United and Peterhead (2 teams very likely to finish 2nd) are losing. To be honest, I would rather get papped out now than be unseeded and inevitably get a shite draw. Extra prize money if we qualify plus remember Kilmarnock are seeded.

Mediocre Pundit
I’ve not seen Thistle play yet this year so can anyone advise how our line up works? Is it a 4-4-2 with Robson and Penrice on the left (and assume Penrice would play deeper?) and who is on the right ahead of Williamson - Palmer? Gordon? And is Cardle playing as a forward in a front two or a winger in a 4-5-1?

Would expect it to be 4-2-3-1 with Bannigan and Palmer sitting, Gordon in front with Cardle (right) and Robson (left) out wide. That’s how we set up first half vs Hamilton.

Reid
Should’ve been at least 2 up before Clyde scored. Defending for their goal was absolutely mince.Need to get the ball to Cardle more. He has their LB on toast.
David W
Amazing that we are level given that our left side is somehow worse defensively than Sunday but if Goodwillie was sharp we could maybe be ahead.

To be fair we dont have a left back, just a makeshift CB filling in.
Skinheed
How can anyone dislike fuzzy wuzzy, cuddly wuddly Partick? Shame on the tiny minority of Clyde fans.

jaggyness
Few things from tonight. Appreciate it's difficult to motivate yourself against minnows but worrying that we switch off once ahead again. David Mitchell is still a fine gk, two excellent saves tonight. We are still light defensively, another right sided defender come centre half needed. Oh and finally a special word on the main stand assistant who was fucking dreadful
