Demented Zebra
Well done Dunfermline deservedly won the game with that first half performance. Jim Goodwin has a lot of work on his hands the board need to back him..
sergie's no1 fan
Quite a random game chosen for the tv but it turned into a decent game.Shocking first half we were awful but Dunfermline were good, took their chances well and if it wasn't for our Czech wall in goals it could have been 5 or 6.

parsforlife
We were absolutely superb first half. Dropped too deep in the 2nd half and the 1st goal wasn’t a surprise, big disappointment to lose the 2nd so quickly but we did pick up when turner came on and ultimately did a decent enough job to see the game out. Morrison did a very good job given its kinda like a debut for him in a truely competitive match(not end of season or diddy cup)Coley looks like an absolute baller, more of that please
Poet of the Macabre
Just about the ideal warm-up game for the Pars. Some promising signs in the first half and a dose of cold water in the second to make sure no one gets carried away. We can have a good season if we can work on the positives going forward and fix that soft centre. St Mirren were absolutely fucking shite. I laughed at them wanting £1 million for the keeper but probably a good shout since he's the only one even remotely decent. We'll need to improve when we play the better sides in this group.
Poet of the Macabre
Fair play to the St Mirren fans for managing to not blame Stubbs for this defeat/performance. I guess you can start to blame the PE teacher now he's offski. How slow is MacKenzie by the way? Surely he's either injured or completely finished.
Gareth_Glasgow
It would have been worth sitting through that pish to see Hladky nodding in the equaliser, what a shame. At least Cooke scored a good goal.

flyingscot
Completely pish in the first half, we were lethargic and Dunfermline just wanted it more, first to every ball and tackle. They sat deep but pushed high on the full backs which hurt us. Improved in second half but too little too late. Erahahon is never a left back, was brutal there last season and still is. Few mistakes defensively and isn't comfortable going forward. We're still very short having lost a few starters from last season. Need a CH to replace Popescu, LB to replace Musek - ideally a defender that can cover both positions as backup, at least one wider player to replace Dryer and McAllister and a striker to replace Nazon.

Shandon Par
Pars’ squad was complete (though we’re still after another winger) early in the summer so have been training together for weeks. Maybe no great surprise to catch out St Mirren with them still building a team and a new manager just in the door.

I'm not sure Pars fans should be throwing stones in this particular glass house. The treatment of the last few managers has not been a model of patience and politeness and there are a fair few people that were pretty negative about Crawford.

Potter wasn't given the gig full time after finishing 7th in League One... Not sure he'd describe his time as being mistreated in any way.Or are you referring to Jefferies whom saw consecutive relegations?Admit it, you're making this stuff up.
