League Cup - Group H

Had a bad feeling about the game today.

Looking at the Edinburgh City team sheet, they have quite a few guys that have played at a higher level and a well respected manager. Never going to be easy on their home park. Our young team will probably learn more from today than all the previous games put together.

Edinburgh City with a decent chance of qualifying for the knockout round if they win against Albion and EK, would be on 9 pts so will likely come down to goal difference.

Think quite a few are going to finish on 9 points. Best 2nd places will be tight.

Well no chance of getting a shot at St Mirren in the next round max of 7 points won't cut it.

Managing Alloa is one thing where you defend and hit hard on the break. Goodwin will need to up his game against lower opposition. I dare say he might do OK in Premiership as you will be on the backfoot most of the time.

Having watched the first half of St M v Pars I thought the Pars were going do well this season but that result today shows nothing changes.

It would be funny if Edinburgh City won the group.

Does it go by goal difference or the result between the two tied teams?

GD. Don't think City will beat Albion Rovers by as many as six, so you should be ok if you win your final game. City might need to win by more than just one goal as +2 GD will be tight in the best second place table.

It's not a foregone conclusion that City will beat Kilby.. we actually played them a few weeks ago in the City Cup Final.

City are usually in great danger of fecking it up when they're favourites for anything!

Can't judge Goodwin at all until he gets some players in. We are about 7 short at least.

We have one right back who was playing at centre half yesterday.

2 centre halfs.

No left backs.

Fair enough our midfield of Magennis, McGinn and Flynn is good, probably better than County's, Livi's and Accies on paper.

We have no wingers.

And 2 strikers that have question marks over them whether or not they are good enough to be starters at Prem level.

Our goalkeeper is fucking amazing though [emoji7].
