League Cup - Group A

Recommended Posts

We dont look the best. We are playing 442 thought for about the first time ever under neilson with a centre mid pairing I can't remember seeing before. Sporle has had a shit half but I dont think Smith has been as bad as folk have made out.

Is there something else regarding the new goal kick rule  that I’m not aware of?
In theory, after half-time, could Utd’s keeper at a goal kick just pass a soft pass to a teammate in the box who doesn’t touch it, and the ball doesn’t leave the box so Hearts’ players can’t touch it, and Utd just stand there for the rest of the match and take the win??

The new rule :

The ball must be stationary and is kicked from any point within the goal area by a player of the defending team
1. Procedure
• The ball is in play when it is kicked and clearly moves • Opponents must be outside the penalty area until the ball is in play

Basically as soon as the ball moves it’s a free for all.

You’re at it. You got into the oppositions half after scoring maybe...3 times.

Also, Ikpeazu somehow become smaller after jumping there. Quite the feat.

I'll take £100 at even money off any Dundee fan that Utd will win the first derby this season.
