Dundee United 2019/2020

Bouhenna is a decent footballer, gets the ball down and tries to play, gives us some height at set pieces too. Defensive mostly. Dosent do as much of the groundwork though and i find Butcher to be the opposite, pretty rubbish on the ball, passes backwards is really not a creative player at all. Loves a knee high tackle though.

If we could merge them wed be on to a winner. Wouldnt really want wither to be the main sitter in a 4141so suspect King to be that guy? Stanton certainly isnt.

Again, i dont think we need a guy to stand infront of the defence, id prefer one of the 2 central midfielders drops off and allows the other to get forward like a classic 442. In that case id like to see what King and Butcher would be like.

                          Seig.

Smith Connolly Reynolds Sporle

Mcmullan King Butcher Banks

             Clark  Shankland

Lots of pace, energy and firepower. Should be enough to do some serious damage.

In bigger games and away games we may well be better 4141 or 4231 but home games id be looking to go with the above or something similar.

While he's no world beater, Bouhenna's departure would be a double blow imo. We'd lose our 1st choice back up for both centre-half and defensive midfield positions. But, if he wants out and there's a club willing to pay then it'd be silly to drag it out.

You'd have to seriously question his judgement if he wants out in order to reunite with Laszlo though.

Id bet Laszlos team will have cash to spend and he'll be offered decent money. Probably get a 3 year deal and Laszlo will get sacked in 2 months anyway.

If bouhenna and booth leaving means we get Stevie may and a good winger think that would be a excellent move, think both could have played a part as think booth is better than robson and probably bouhenna is our second best midfielder however we are stacked with midfielders who will 100% do a job
